I can not believe how awful and unethical this Dr. is. Hired to him to do a 733 evalutaion and testify on my behalf in order for me to keep full custody of my son. Not only did he not have the report done in time but he failed to mention that he has multiple law suits against him for moral conduct and several complaints against his license. Come to find out he also has a restraining order against him with his ex-wife and recently has been removed form the court approved list as an expert in child custody matters. I couldnt even have him testify because his credibility was shot. Unfortunately I have lost custody of my son due to not having an expert and of course I find all of this out the day before my court hearing. If you care about your children do not have this guy do anything in any capacity for any matter. I promise you will regret it and pay dearly.
Bruce Harshman was reported to and investigated by the Los Angeles Superior Court. The findings will not be shared, but he was removed from the list based on that investigation due to some sort of misconduct. He is no longer practicing is my understanding as after he was removed, other Judges found additional misconduct and there were a series of legal actions against him.
I saw your comments above and am sorry that you had that series of unfortunate events. If it had been coordinated earlier, it could have been shared that Dr. Harshman was under investigation and had been removed. Not sure if it helps, but I believe this person has retired and is not taking on any new cases in order to defend against upcoming lawsuits. You may want to check with an attorney to see what legal recourse you have. Good luck.

Bruce is very unprofessional! His antics are darn right deplorable! Avoid him at all costs! Protect your children!

I was told by an attorney that Dr. Harshman has lost his license and is no longer able to practice under that.
