I've been a patient of Dr. Fretta's for seven years now and have always admired his professional manner... he listens to the patient (unlike most that rush you out the door) and his visit rates are definitely reasonable. I have been referred to him by friends and referred my friends there... do not hesitate to give this doctor a visit and judge for yourself, you won't be disappointed.
Great doctor has been very reasonable and has never let me down yet anyone that I have ever sent to him has had nothing but good things to say don't believe the negative comments and go judge him for your self the best in vein removal period !!!
I went to Dr. Fretta for PRP injections to rejuvenate/stimulate hair growth on my scalp, not only is he extremely knowledgeable but he is also very down to earth and does a great job explaining exactly what he is doing. I would definitely recommend him to my friends and family
Please everyone in Eatontown NJ, Marlboro NJ, West Orange NJ,Shrewsbury NJ and surrounding areas of Monmouth county. Dr. Joseph Fretta, MD is masquerading around the state of NJ proclaiming to be a vascular surgeon, plastic surgeon and other specialties. He is a quack and will perform any procedure on anyone for the sake of MONEY. He knows how to mainipulate Medicare, and other insurance companies. He constantly complains about reimbursement rates for insurance and is a very unprofessional doctor. He gets you in his office and it is a never ending cycle of treatments that destroys you for life. He is now working his way into the plastic and cosmetic surgery world under the guise of the Medi Spa in Shrewsbury NJ (owner Marguerite DeFonte). Check your doctors background before you allow him/her to do any procedures on you. This man is just a simple Internal Med doc not a SPECIALIST/SURGEON !!! We can only hope this message gets out to people in time so they do not become entangled in his web of deceit and lies.
The owner of the Shrewsbury Medispa is also very questionable there are many complaints already listed on the internet about scams and what not going on there with her. Dr.Fretta's office staff are well aware of his fradulent billing schemes. Office manager is Jessica Brown an unlicensed woman that he also calls his nurse she corroborates with the billing company. He is absolutely crazy... any man that will inject himself and poke and prod his own body for the sake of the almighty dollar needs his head examined.

Firstly I would like to respond to the accusations that Dr. Fretta is only in the practice of medicine to make money. If a doctor's main objective was soley the pursuit of money then why would all of these other rebuttals on this page speak of how he has gone above and beyond his duties as a medical professional in order to help create a better quality of life for his patients? I have had the pleasure of knowing Dr. Fretta for over a decade, and have on multiple occasions seen him take time out of his busy day to see patients with no appointments who have come into his office with medical emergencies (the pure fact that these patients seek his help as opposed to going to a hospital speaks volumes in and of itself). As mentioned in other comments, Dr. Fretta takes the time to get to know each patient and their ailments so that he may give them the best quality of care he has to offer, and often times he has been available via his cell phone on weekends and late at night for me when i needed medical advice. In short, the doctor puts his patients well being above and beyond any other motive, especially money, and his actions serve as a testament to this.
Secondly, I would like to address the comment about Dr. Fretta injecting himself with fillers/PRP on his website. Any man who is willing to do treatment on himself is literally practicing what he preaches and must really believe his methods work. I have personally had PRP treatment done to my scalp (to restore/promote hair growth) and can attest to its affectiveness after a couple of treatments. (It is also pretty cool that he has a steady enough hand to inject himself without fliching, but I digress...)
This comment is a slanderous attack on a good doctor and better man, with no merit or substance to it. Not once did I see any evidence for any of the claims that this person has made, they have only name dropped and spewed one sided hatred towards Dr. Fretta and his staff. I implore you to please meet Dr. Fretta and judge his character and professionalism for yourself, you will find yourself throughly surprised with your quality of care.
