DVD Treat is a SCAM!

I wanted to buy the series Law and Order. I found it on Amazon for $400. I wanted it cheaper and googled it and it took me to DVD Treat. They said brand new in boxed sets and had a picture of it. I ordered it. The site looked American. I received it in 30 days and they were bootlegged recorded from NBC and TNT. They didn't have any contact info except a email. I emailed and Kimberly WEIS (fake name probably) responded saying they'll issue a refund. I waited and waited and nothing. I emailed again and she said to return them to get my refund. She gave me a China address. It cost $65 and she said they couldn't give me that money back. I ended up getting them sent back to me. They didn't even write the episode on the disks! I emailed again and she kept saying I got my refund! I knew I got scammed. My bank gave me the $200 back, but not the money I spent on the shipping. I contacted NBC and TNT. TNT didn't respond, but NBC did. I then contacted the FBI and complained on the site they have. These people are taking hard working money from Americans! I don't see how these people are getting away with this! How can they get away with this? I continue to email Ms.Kimberly WEIS just to annoy her/him! It's hard to believe people can get away with a scam like this! I always shop online and am usually careful. I bought Law and Order for a few dollars cheaper from EBay. I never buy anything from China or Africa! People want an easy buck and scam people for it! DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM WWW.DVDTREAT.COM! They're a bunch of Chinese scam artist!

DO NOT BUY FROM www.dvdtreat.com!!!!

I was looking to buy brand new series Law and Order. I found a set on Amazon for $400 and then googled it. I went to www.dvdtreat.com. Their website looked legit and American. They posted pics of Law and Order boxed sets just like on Amazon. They said brand new boxed sets for $200. I ordered them. Then I didn't receive them until 30 days later. I couldn't find a number or anything only an email from their site. Some lady named Kimbery Weiss keeps emailing me even now and this has happened 6 mo ago!

I received them after 30 days. They were bootlegged and recorded from NBC and TNT television stations! They didn't even give me the courtesy of writing the season or episode on there!

I emailed them to get my money and she kept saying they needed me to return and gave me a Chinese address! I had to pay $65 to mail back. They said they weren't gonna refund me!

I waited and wait, no refund. Kept receiving her fake emails. That number got disconnected! I reported them to the FBI! Hopefully, they'll get more complaints from them to do something! They have a place

On their website to report them.

I complained to my bank and they have me a refund of the dvd's, but not the shipping since I got scammed and tried to do everything to get my money back!

I ended up buying the series off EBay! Good old EBay for a few dollars cheaper! Don't know why I didn't look there first! Beware of anything from China, but their site looked American! I now google whatever company if I buy online unless it's a regular store...don't buy from them!

DO NOT BUY FROM www.dvdtreat.com!!!!!!

I also forgot to say that I emailed (knowing they get so many emails) NBC and TNT telling them about what dvdtreat did by recording Law and Order from their station and selling the bootlegged dvd's for profit. I got a response from NBC saying she forwarded it to their legal team. Never heard from TNT though. Felt I should've told them!

DVD treat is a scam!

Same thing happened to me! My bank issued me a refund because I did everything I was suppose to. I also contacted NBC and TNT about them. Everything you wrote happened to me the same exact way! I still email Ms.Kimberly WEIS just to mess with her! She replies too most of the time! How come people can't find these people??! They're horrible! They're scamming hard working Americans and are getting away with it!

Same thing happened to me!

Everything you said happened to me! I also did everything you did! I contacted NBC and TNT also and heard from NBC, but not TNT just like you! I also mailed the Law and Order set back and they got returned to me. My bank also gave me a refund, but not for the $65 of the shipping! These people piss me off! The want to earn a quick buck! I also went on EBay and bout the set. Sounded just like my story! I was also complaining how they didn't even write the series on the disks! They couldn't even do that! Ha! I'm so glad I wasn't the only one. I also contacted the FBI and complained. The guy who I bought the set from on EBay said his wife got scammed by them also! She bought some older TV series tho. Anyhow, you're not alone! I still email Ms.Kimberly Weiss all the time just to annoy her or him because I doubt that's a real name. How do they get away with that though I wonder. I hope karma bites them in the ass!

Sue Thomas FBEye

Same thing happened to me. They charged me $70 for bootleg copies taken directly off of Direct TV with menu screen and all.

Once I received it, I was angry. It was definitely not what was advertised. I exchanged numerous emails with the Company and after nearly a month I have yet to receive a refund even though they said they have "processed" it. The website creates an appearance of a legitimate business but it is a scam. In my case, I did not receive what is advertised.

I was looking to buy the rifleman series, a older classic tv series from the 60's. I checked on amazon and could not find it. I then went to find it on another site after I searched it on google. I found a site claiming to sell all 168 episodes, the entire series.

i then purchased the series from the site and waited the 7-15 business days the website said it would take. After 20 days I realized maybe I had been scammed, I sent the company an email and I got no response even though they claimed they would respond in 24 hours and welcomed any and all questions.

I then went and purchased it from another website, but this time I was getting impatient to see the series so I went looking for another site that might have a faster way to get it. I then found a site saying all 168 episodes have not even been released to the public. 50 or so are still being held by the studio. Now I realize I've been scammed twice and there's no way to press charges because the site has detailed terms and conditions. Beware anyone trying to buy from this site!
