Earbangers Earphones Reviews

  • May 12, 2014

I am very disappointed with Earbanger equipment. I was at the Puyallup state fair in September 2013 and stopped by Earbanger's booth. I had been looking for earphones for my Ipod that wouldnt tangle. When I was looking at the earphones and phone car charger equipment I was interested but hesitant to buy, because there wasnt a ""store"" that I could walk into, and return or exchange equipment if something went faulty. The woman and man convinced me that I would have no problem what so ever, in exchanging/returning my equipment if needed. They showed me the ""warrantry"" card and said how easy it would be to return if needed. I was hesitant but, the equipment and salesmen seemed to put me more at ease. What a HUGE mistake, and a NIGHTMARE that was actually coming true. Like I mentioned. I bought the earphones and car charger and paid approx. $60.00. I was excited to use both. Within a week my Ipod earphones didnt work properly. The jack part that goes in to the Ipod itself didnt work, unless I jiggled the jack back and forth, and when I would let go I couldnt hear the music again. The cell phone adapter and cord that plugs in to the phone, kept blowing fuses, so I couldnt use it either. The first of which would be a dozen emails to Earbanger, I received the first response within a week. I mentioned that I had tried the car charger several times, and it kept blowing fuses so I wanted to return it, and my money back. I was toled from the men at the automotive stores, that I shouldnt put a highter voltage in my car as it could start a fire. So, the ""Vice Predsident"" told me to send the earphones and car charger back. I had to go to UPS, pay for the return and buy insurance just in case it got lost, so I am now ""out"" $70.00. By now it is well in to Feburary. I was told I could not ""return"" for money back, and I should pick something else. They did send my earphones after a month in October , but by Febuary 2014, I stated I didnt want to pick anything else to buy in place of the car charger, as if I wanted to buy something else, I would have done so the day at the fair. Disgruntled I said Ok, send me the car charger and I will figure something out. I was told ""No"" they wouldnt send the car charger, because of the risk. I said in Feburary, that I was going to give the charger as a gift to my daughters birthday March 4th, and that day came and went without any responses regarding my car charger. I finally get a package in the mail in April and I open it up, and its from Earbangers with 2 chargers that you plug in to the cigarrette lighter. I wrote back and said I didnt buy or need to car charger parts, I needed the cable to the charger, the cable part that connects to the phone. I get a email back saying ""they sent me two car charger ports, instead of one"" as they thought they would send 2 for ""all of my trouble"". I emailed back stating what good, does 2 charger parts do if I dont have the one cable to go with it? The vice president emails back and states ""she never saw a cord that goes with the charger part"". Now it is the end of March, I have spent over $70.00, and I dont even want to know how much time I spent on over 12 emails, and was not able to use my equipment until April 2014. Keep in mind I bought these September 2013. All and all, I was so happy to read a review from another gentlemen on here that went through almost the exact same thing I went through! Re-read his and mine, and save yourself time and money!
