I ordered a closet organzier for my 78 year old father. Was told the order would be received with 3 days. 10 days later the product is delivered damaged and missing several pieces. I called Easy Closets immediately. The customer service representative was rude, unhelpful and unapologetic! I asked to speak to his supervisor. Five hours later I received a call from a woman who said she was the Customer Service Supervisor. WOW! The most condescending person I have ever had to deal with. (I own my own business, providing great customer service is my number one goal, but obviously Easy Closets doesn't know what those words mean. ) Waited another five days and received damaged product again. This time the supervisor ignored messages and I finally had to install the damaged product. Worst thing however, my 78 year old dad calls to tell me his bank account is overdrawn. WHAT! I get online and oh yes...easy Closets has charged him for the second system they shipped him(the one they were shipping due to the fact the first one was damaged!). I could not believe it. I called again. Waited and waited for someone at Easy Closets to reverse the charges. I then contacted the bank, they reversed the charges, contacted Easy Closets (who never responded to the bank). The bank then was worried Easy Closets would retaliate and try to charge my dad's credit card for bogus charges again. Therefore they cancelled the card and issued him another one. Then Easy Closets sends me an email, asking for my opinion on their product and my customer service experience. So I did! The supervisor calls me immediately, leaves me a message stating she's seen my review and that she will make it right. Says she'll reimburse my dad for the damaged panels and the bank fees. Guess what? Three months later and still not a dime! Disappointed, angry, and disgusted a company can take advantage of an elderly man and not even blink an eye.
