Echo tone Music defrauded me of $415 by failing to complete a return/exchange process.
I returned a $415 concertina I had purchased, which I was unable to hold due to a disability that requires me to spend most of my time on my back. I called Echo tone Music and asked for a refund. They stated that they do not offer refunds, only returns with exchange. I said fine. I told them I would return the concertina I was unable to use and I asked them to send me a concertina with a different design, which I thought I would probably be able to use. They never sent anything.
After frequent e-mails from me requesting a status report, and then after frequent phone calls from me, I received no response. No phone call, no email explaining why they were not honoring their exchange policy. The owner was never ""in"" when I happened to call and he never returned my calls.
Beware of doing any business with these folks. Perhaps if I lived in Rochester and could have confronted them in person I would have had better luck, but I live in California.
I am 73 years old. I have never encountered such downright mean treatment from a vendor online or in person. Beware of Echo tone Music in Rochester, NY.
