I was at Merrick Park with my mom and planned on visiting this store to check out some Oliver Peoples frames. I changed my mind when she told me she was treated very poorly by a sales assistant a couple of years ago. She asked for help finding a pair of glasses for herself, and the assistant looked her up and down and said, "I don't think we have anything for you." Now, this was after a pair of Cartier glasses were stolen from her car, so I can assure you she could have afforded to buy anything in that store.

If a store is going to make assumptions based on people's appearances, they don't need any of my disposable income (and I certainly don't want them to have it).

I took my business elsewhere, and I bought a nice pair of vintage Oliver Peoples at a store in the design district post-brunch at Michael's Genuine Food and Drink.

I went to this place because the optometrist took my insurance, but I will never go back again.

1. One of the ladies that works there, the one that takes care of the insurance and the paperwork (not the cashier), doesn't have much customer service experience as she is kind of rude.

2. My co-pay was $35 and they charged me $40. I had to pull my coverage on my phone so they could give me back $5

3. The optometrist called me a week later at 9:36PM!!!! To ask me if I had received the contact lenses he had ordered, when I clearly told him that I first wanted to try the new kind he gave me and also wanted to finish first my remaining boxes.

I will never go back to this place.
