EHS Housing Reviews

This company calls and states that they are from the National Association of Equipment Leasing Brokers (of which our company are members) and they were calling to handle our hotel accommodations for the upcoming conference. When I asked the individual for their name since I know all the people who work for the NAELB, only then did they say " I actually work for the hotel". I further called the individual on that being a lie and asked why the number they were calling from didn't belong to the hotel - only then did they tell me the truth that they actually work for EHS (Exhibitors Housing Service).

The lying didn't stop there however. They stated that the NAELB and the Hotel asked them to contact me to make reservations- which I confirmed was not true by contacting both the NAELB and the Hotel where the conference was being held.

I don't mind companies trying to solicit business - but don't lie about what company you are working for and representing.

In Febrary of 2015 I contacted EHS housing for a trade show in Washington DC March 6-8, 2015. I filled out their information form and spoke with an agent on the phone. My bank refused the transaction because the company is based out of Germany. I told the EHS representative that I could not complete the transaction and to cancel everything. I told them that I would make my own arrangements. All was good I thought.

I made reservations with the Donavon in DC. I went to the Renaissance Washington DC Hotel when I arrived in DC. I asked if they had a reservation for me. They had no record of a reservation for me. After I returned home I decovered that my account had been debited for the stay for a total of $1,094.62 I contested with my bank, Wells Fargo. On May 12, 2015 the money was removed from my account. Because I attemped to make a reservation I have to pay for one.

I did not have a reservation for the Renaissance and should not have to pay for one. EHS Housing is a fraudulent company and should be shut down.
