I am writing to warn you to avoid any dealings with Alex Britton of Granada Hills, CA and his company El Dorado Invest Properties Group LLC. His company actually came highly recommended to me from someone I trusted so my guard was down a bit. Alex is a very persuasive and enthusiastic communicator but cannot be trusted, nothing that he told me ever happened.
In a property purchase transaction initiated by Alex in southern Michigan, he convinced me to buy a house that should have been condemned, took $13,000 of my rehab funds, then wrote a $5,000 bad check that I also had to cover for the roofer. He eventually returned some of the stolen funds but the property flip project turned out to be a disaster, costing over twice the amount that he quoted me ($38,000). I will be very fortunate if I can get the money I invested into the property back from the sale. That said, I will never work with him again ever or recommend him to anyone.
