Me and my three daughters went to purchase a ring for my wife for a special Christmas present and thought we had found the perfect gift and gave a deposit plus my Credit card for the remaining balance in order for them to allow me to take the ring to my wife to make sure she would like it. Especially since it cost $10,000.00 I was assured by Karla Elinoff (owner) that since I left a deposit plus my credit card that I could come and return the ring if she did not like it either today (12-31-2013) or the next day Januruary 1st to return it or have them ship it so I would save the sales tax. My wife returned with the ring 30 minutes later as she did not like it (12-31-13) and she was told there are no returns allowed!!!!! then my wife found out that they had run my credit card for the full amount and they then instructed my wife that I was the only one they would talk to and again told her there is a strict policy against returns. "no returns" this appears nowhere in the store nor on the reciepts for the cash deposit, nor on the balance owed reciept that were given to me nor are there any signs in the store. (we have taken pictures dated 12-31-2013 of the inside showroom as well as the front exterior signage and window treaments and there are no "no return signs". I went to this establishment as well to "fix this misunderstanding" but Karla Elinoff (owners wife) nor her husband would see me. I was instructed by Greg Neeley of this "pull it out of your hat no return policy" and was asked to leave or he was going to call the police actually the sheriff.. And to add injury to insult; after examining the ring we now have serious concerns that the ring is even real. the setting, the diamonds, the gold and actually the whole experience is unreal. After I returned from this establishment I looked this company up and the individual owners and to my dismay they have filed bankruptcy on over four million dollars.. Yes I feel foolish that we did not check this company out or the individuals before making such a purchase. Shame on me for being trusting but PLEASE PLEASE anyone who is interested in this shop Run Run Run away!!!! the public records of these individuals and the actual business that has changed it's name from Elinoff Galleries to Elinoff and Company speaks for itself anyone can look this up and it is not heresey but PUBLIC RECORDED information they defaulted on 4 million dollars to their creditors I am sure their creditors trusted them as well OUCH is all I can say. Guess that's why they resort to lies and empty promises to make sales.. What a bummer ending to a family vacation!!! last thing I can say to all you other shoppers use the available internet info before you buy from and individual boutique please do not be foolish like me. Especially now that I have looked them up there are numerous bad reports on this establishment!!!!!! even on this site that I am publishing this on...... once bitten shame on them twice bitten shame on me but I assure everyone there will never be another time for me or my family... And hopefully for all of you who read this...... Please do not put yourself in harms way by doing business with this dishonorable run business by individuals who tell you what you want to hear in order to take advantage of you. The American Dream is being jeopardized by individuals like this please please do not allow them to continue in these kind of practices!!!!!!!!! by staying AWAY PLEASE!
