Emergency Business Funding Reviews

They contacted me with promises of producing a business loan so I could start my own clinic. They collected my credit card number and promised to send an email with a form that I needed to fill out so they could get started creating the loan. I did not receive the email. I called them back, and left several voicemails because no one ever answers the phone. After several attempt to get the emailI accepted that they were not going to deal honestly with me, so I cancelled the credit card payment. The company disputed the cancel with the credit card. Even the credit card company agreed that they were not willing to produce the email so they could even start to produce the loan agreement. Now, this company has sent me to collections so they can make it difficult for me to get a business loan from any other company.

I started this venture back in August of this year, this company was so helpful when i contacted them about getting my business started but firat there was a few things i had to do. Pay the fee they wanted to help me to which this had to be paid up front before anything could happen. To which i did, in the amount of $1000.00. I was told by James that the process would take between 4 days and 4 weeks to get me financing. I had already spent 15,000.00 of our own money to start my business and was out, and had to borrow the 1,000.00 they wanted so i could get our business going and off the ground. I made sure that James knew i had no more money to pay for an entity in our state as the cost was crazy at 500.00 filling fee, I said" can i use so of the loan money to pay for the filling fee on our LLC" James reply was yes of course lots of people do this. For the next few days the conversations and the emails were very positive but it didnt take long for them to show there true colors. I filled a complaint with the BBB and in there second reply to them was "they had done everything they were suppose to do, and that i just freaked out on him" I did "freak" out on him but not because they had done what they said I "freaked" out because they werent doing what they were suppose to do. I emailed the BBB copies of all the phone records and emails I had recieved and sent to them in regards to this issue.

This company has had other business names in the past due to other issues very similar to this. I have done everything they wanted me to do from the very beginning and they are finding every excuse to tell the BBB why it isnt there fault. I am not a perfect person but i am not wanting to go into business to take peoples hard earned money away from them. I want to make a difference in this really screwed up world. This is so not right for anyone to be scaming money or goods from others, this company should never be allowed to have any other business names as to many people like myself are hard working, God fearing americans, that are way to trusting and suffer the consiquences for that.

When i have to worry about trying to find the money to pay my power bill before the shut off date, and have to worry about putting food on the table for my kids.......they should be stopped by someone, that is why this world is the way it is. This company needs to be very afraid, God Doesn't like Ugly!!!!!!! If anyone else out there reading this please be extremely diligent in the research you do on a company that almost sounds to good to be true!

Emergency Business Funding has proven themselves to be the biggest Rip-off company I've ever dealt with. The term "moral" has no positive place in their vocabulary. Exercising my professionalism as an entrepreneur, I present my unprejudiced opinion of this companies unprofessionalism, gross negligence, and fraudulent behavior. My professional measurement of Emergency Business Funding is based on the "matter-of-facts" below that I was forced to endure (because monies were paid) after dealing with them for five months. I now sit shaking my head after paying $1,239.00 and only have unsatisfactory results and no results at all to show for it. Please feel free to analysis my grievances before making the same mistake that I made which severely damaged my start-up rather than help.

In April of 2014 I was searching for a National bank that specialized in Small Business Loans to be used as "Start-up" capital. I visited J. P. Morgan Chase web-site and a form came up asking for basic contact information. I inserted my information (name, phone number, and address) to who at the time was the web-site of a creditable National bank however; it turned out to be a pop-up web-site off the web-site of the J. P. Morgan Chase bank which whom was under the impression I was dealing with. Confusing right? Yes, very! Nevertheless, my information was immediately sent to a number of companies. I didn't realized this until I received a phone call within minutes of completing this contact form on the internet. The caller identified himself as a representative who worked at Emergency Business Funding. I spent approximately twenty-five (25) minute on the phone with him as he told me everything I wanted to hear about helping my business get off the ground. Honestly, I was excited that my business would finally have a chance at success. All I had to do was pay a $239.00 for the purchase of the product, (production and underwriting of the Funding Assessment) and I would be on my way to success. I immediately paid the $239.00 fee and the representative informed me that I would receive a phone call to setup a tele-conference with a counselor. It was almost as though the phonecon came to an abrupt end once he had my money. I did in-fact receive a phone call from an Emergency Business Funding (female) lady who informed me I was required to complete a task that would allow them to gain access to my personal credit profile, which I accomplished.

Three weeks passed with no phone calls and no appointment therefore I began calling and leaving message with Emergency Business Funding with no returned phone calls. At this point, I felt that I had been scammed. I decided to investigate on my own by carefully scrutinizing their web-site. I realized Emergency Business Funding "web-site" advertisement is very different than their choice of verbiage used over the phone, which at the time I Became suspicious. After several failed attempts to make positive contact with a live Emergency Business Funding representative, I conducted more research and found another number. I called and finally got someone who answered the phone. I explained my situation along with my frustration. The gentleman who responded was very apologetic and helpful by squeezing me in for an appointment. His justification to the lack of their response was due to members on their staff being sick which caused them to be short handed. I was unsympathetic because as a service member I worked (49 hours) until I literally passed out in Iraq, and was sick with the flu in Afghanistan, but I knew I had to overcome those obstacles and push through because I was fighting for a cause greater than my own...

Nevertheless, my appointment date came and I did receive a phone call from a counselor who informed me their systems were down therefore, I would have to reschedule. I immediately expressed my disgust which seemed to be the norm with this company. He asked that I stand-by for forty-five (45) so he could get a system going. Approximately one hour later I receive a phone call from the counselor. Conversing with the counselor, he wasn't telling me anything I didn't already know, other than I would having to set-up a credit profile for my business. The counselor also informed me that they could draft a "Business Plan that would knock your socks off", build a credit profile for my business, and fix errors on my credit report. Once again, he was able to gain my complete attention. I asked how much this was going to cost. He informed me between $700.00 and $1000.00. He also told me that this type of work cost a lot more through other companies. Of course, when he came back to the phone he informed me it would be $1000.00. Due to having other business obligations, I told him I only had $500.00 I could pay at the time. He quickly responded, "We can take that"; when can you pay the other $500.00. I told him I could pay the other $500.00 on the first of the month. I competed a form promising to pay and was on my way to receiving a great Business Plan with other essential items that would help me get my business off the ground. The first of the month came and I received a phone call from Emergency Business Funding representative which I was surprised due to the lack of phonecalls previously. The representative began to patronize me prior to getting to the real purpose of his phone call. "Did you pay the $500.00 yet? I informed him that I had agreed and signed a promissory allowing them to automatically take the final payment on the first which he in-turn did immediately. Afterwards, the phone call came to an abrupt end. Prior to agreeing to these essentials, I considered the fact of already having a good business plan, but it didn't knock my socks off; needless to say, neither did theirs. I also pay a service fee to a credit monitoring company who monitors my credit report. The missing piece was building the business credit profile and I felt getting "professional services" would pay off later. I viewed this as an exceptionally valuable judgment call for me! As for the credit report; he made it sound like they would take care of everything requiring me to be "hands off", NOT true. My involvement was required costing me more time and money! As for the business profile, to date I don't know if any action has been taken because I haven't received a phone call from this company for the past several months. I have begun the process of doing all this on my own because Emergency Business Funding has cause me to trust absolutely NO ONE when it involves building my business. Only positive thing I have to mention is the business plan they built had a great format, but I'm still out of $1000.00.

In summary, Emergency Business Funding have conducted themselves in the most unethical business manner I've ever had the unfortunate experience of witnessing. It is now the month of Sept 2014; five (5) months and counting... Once Emergency Business Funding received my money, almost every occasion consisted of destructive actions by Emergency Business Funding. I called two (2) - five (5) times a day, left messages with no return phone calls. I've sent emails with no responses. Trough researched, I've found an additional phone number and called finally getting a representative. I've concluded, that Emergency Business Funding is all about making money which is great, that want I'm trying to do! However, I strongly disagree with their methodology which in my opinion is very harsh to someone trying to build a genuine business, and that is tremendously disturbing to me. I, along with those around me consider me an out spoken who has a passion for everything I decide to get my hands into. After experiencing Emergency Business Funding irresponsible behavior, it frightens me that some will risk losing everything they've worked so hard for given today's society; absolutely senseless! During the past months, I've obtained a great deal details about Emergency Business Funding, but will not express it in this forum due to a non disclosure agreement I signed under the notion that they were responsible professionals, and everything would have gone smooth. However, should anyone associated with this company make any attempts to defend Emergency Business Funding against my facts, I will not only submit factual documents supporting my claims to "Better Business Bureau", but also my Attorneys initiating a legal claim against Emergency Business Funding.

I feel morally obligated to submit the information surrounding my unfortunate experience with Emergency Business Funding's tortuous behavior so no other prospective business owners fall into their web of lies and deception. The only way to stop these tortuous scammers are to make the public aware of them! Folks work too hard taking the little resources they have and trying to turn it into success. Unfortunately, vultures will always be around the corner; ready to prey on who they feel are "the weak"! To be fair and leave on a positive note; Emergency Business Funding did prove to me, that I can do what I've paid them to do myself. Good luck to all entrepreneur; remember that hard work and finding that median that's right for your business and customers is what will equates to your success! After several recent attempt to resoulve this matter, Emergency Business Funding continue to ignor my plea for help. They still owe me $1239.00 dollars.
