I was contacted by eemloans via mail. Was told I was "already approved" and to call by a certain date. They asked for way too much information, that quite frankly I felt they shoudl have had already. I was lead to believe "it woudn't cost me anything"...These people are very misleading, and will drag you along, by continuing to ask for "one last thing"...Was told I wouldn't have to pay one month's mortgage payment and get my escrow...Then, I was told I would need to bring $1100 to closing, "but I would "make that up in the escrow money the current owner of my mortgage note would owe me." They neglected to tell me (but I already was aware) that I would have to give that escrow money to taxes and insurance...Be forwarned. Don't not use this company.
