In a highly competitive industry such as auto warranty, some companies practice unscrupulous activities to mislead, even defraud hard-working consumers. From day one, Endurance has pledged to never participate in such activities by joining the Vehicle Protection Association. VPA is a regulatory agency that educates consumers on buying options and rights, as well as enacting industry standards all members must abide by. These stringent requirements, coupled with how well a company follows them, allows any member company to be rated. The three tier ranking consists three levels: Bronze (bottom tier); Silver (middle tier); Gold (top tier) - the highest recognition a company can receive. Endurance Warranty Services is Gold-Certified. Any company not certified or on this prestigious level should be fully examined before signing on with them.

Lastly, external research is a great way to find a company that can be trusted. Make sure their website is official, operating, and features transparent information about the company. The more information a company releases about themselves, the better. There are plenty of fly-by-night companies that make big promises but are completely missing-in-action when it’s time to pay a claim. Endurance Warranty Services is proud to publish that we have paid over $25 Million in claims throughout the life of our business

This was my first covered claim and it occurred on 3/12/2015. I had a drivers window motor and regulator cable snapped while I was in another city (Cynthiana, KY) where I had lived years passed. The young lady in the office of the garage contacted Endurance to report claim, gave them all info plus excessive questions asked but supplied same. The garage The garage is located at: Chuck's Garage, 50 Tech Way, Cynthiana, KY, 41031 00.

I believe the name of the fellow taking the claim was Julian. In the process of all this questioning by Julian as to my vehicle it dragged out over 45 ridiculous minutes, speaking with both the office lady reporting the claim, also interrupting the garge owner as to details of the repairs to be done and how. Chuck' was getting parts I needed from local source but Endurance wanted to furnish parts and sahip them which meant I would have to stay overnight before they would have parts.

Further there was aggravating circumstances regarding the amount they would only pay for his labor to repair window.

During this period of time three different individuals spoke to this Julian which also included me, I inquired why he was being so inconsiderate. He definitely was rude and very unprofessional in the process. Chuck the garage owner was fed up with the time that had been wasted and the harrassing process to handle a simple claim. At this point I told this individual Julian this enough and that I would get it fixed and I would be contacting another individual at Endurance to report this fiasco.

I called back and spoke to a Eddy Perez, explained what had just taken place and how very seriously I was upset over this matter. He asked me to send copy of repair bill and they would take care of it less my $100 deductible. The total bill was $462.06. I sent him all the copies of my originals on 3/17/15 with proof of dely and signature of individual that received it . I marked the outside of subject letter as "Rembursements", as he requested.

Subject letter was noted as being received at Endurance on 3/25/15. Finally Ireceived a call from this Eddy Perez on 4/9/15 regarding my claim, and his offer of a fefund for this repair bill was an offer of sending me some sort of coupons for restaurants worth $250.00, where you buy one meal and get one free or half off. That is positively unacceptable and ridiculous, absurd what kind of scam is this. He said it would probably take hime some more time to pursue my refund.

Have not heard from them since that day 4/9/15

Endurance Warranty Services I recently purchased a warranty from you Endurance on March 27, 2012. On April 27, 2012 I tried to go and have some vehicle repairs done on my car. Your company would not cover them and told me that t Internet, Illinois

I recently purchased a warranty from you Endurance on March 27, 2012. On April 27, 2012 I tried to go and have some vehicle repairs done on my car. Your company would not cover them and told me that the repair facility stated this was a pre-existing condition. I contacted the manager of the claims department, and he stated to me unless I had proof of this not being a pre-existing condition they would not cover it. I then tried to fax over the receipt that the repair shop had given to me for a previous repair. They constantly stated they had not received it.

On the receipt it states that I was concerned about a noise that was coming from my car, and then it states that nothing was wrong. I ended up going back up there because I kept hearing this noise; they then told me that something was wrong. They contacted your company and it was stated that you will not pay for repairs. After all of this misunderstanding I decided this is not a good warranty company to go through. I then asked for a refund. I spoke with Eddie Perez who then stated that I would receive little to nothing back, when in fact I had never made a first payment, and that I would receive a full refund if canceled within thirty days.

I only made the initial payments that were required to start the contract. This was a total of 307.40 which I paid in two installments. I was then told that I needed to write a letter stating I wanted to cancel the contract and that I should have it notarized and then mail it in. I asked how long it could be before I receive my refund, and Eddie said it could take up to thirty days. After calling around to the different departments claims, customer service, administrative and all they had given inappropriate and nonprofessional customer service. Whatever you do, do not go through this warranty company!

Endurance Warranty 1-866-432-4443 and 877-414-0134 http://www.endurancewarranty.com/ Endurancy Warranty Program Internet

I have been covered by Endurance for approximately five months. The air conditioning compressor in my car stopped working. I called Endurance. They told me I needed to have a diagnostic service run before I could submit a claim to confirm what was wrong with the car. The cost of the diagnostic was not covered.

The repair shop called Endurance with the results of the diagnostic to confirm why the air conditioner was broken to start the claims process. The Endurance representative explained they could not start a claim unless the vehicle was at the shop and the repair shop provided them with the diagnostic results and mileage on the car AT THE TIME THE REPAIR WAS MADE. Based on this information I made arrangements with the repair shop to have the car repaired on a Saturday.

I called Endurance on Thursday before my scheduled Saturday repair appointment. I said I wanted to make sure I was doing everything they needed to make sure the claim was covered. The representative told me the repair shop had to provide the diagnostic report and mileage from my vehicle AT THE TIME THE REPAIR WAS MADE. So, I confirmed that I was going to have my car repaired on Saturday at which time the repair shop would call them and give them the mileage and diagnostic information. The representative confirmed my understanding.

On Saturday the repair shop called Endurance. They did not pick up the phone. The repair shop recorded the mileage on my car before starting the repair. The shop called Endurance on Monday to provide them with the mileage, diagnostic information, and a list of all parts and labor from the repair. Endurance told the repair shop that the claim would not be covered because the repair had already been completed, which counted as a preexisting condition.

Endurance said they had no record of any calls made to them two weeks prior to the repair. I told them I could provide a cell phone record to show them I had called and the repair shop could also provide confirmation of calling. They said they had no calls on record and could not approve the claim. I told them the repair shop and I were instructed to provide them with the mileage at the time the repair was made, which was their requirement to file the claim.

So Endurance basically found a loophole. They would not open a claim without having a mileage report documented at the time the repair was made, but they wont cover a claim because the repair would have to be in process before they would accept the mileage report.

I told them I wanted to cancel my policy. They said they would waive my monthly $123 payment for the following month but were not willing to cancel the coverage. I said they are not providing me the coverage they said they would provide and they said it is not their fault I can't follow instructions.

In addition to having to pay them $2800 for an extended warranty plan I am also out of pocket $1631.46 for a broken air conditioner. Oh, but if they actually did cover the claim, diagnostic work is not covered, neither is sales tax, and different bits and pieces of labor fees.

Endurance Warrenty Services - Consumer Direct Warranty Services - Mepco (product company) Consumer Direct Warrenty Services (one of many selling brokers) Endurance Warranty Services (finance/collections company) That is the basic breakdown of this scam. Chicago Illinois

Consumer Direct Warrenty Services does not sell policies. Instead they have multiple direct sell marketers sell for them while Mepco is the finance company that does the collections. I have had my policy for a little more than 30 days. I took my vehicle in this morning for scheduled service where it was identified that my transmission cooler had a small leak. I called consumer direct warrenty services to start a claim for the repair. After being on hold by an automated system for more that 40 minutes ( I was on my cell phone as well) I decided to email the company as stated on their recording. Sometime much later CDWS called my Ford service center and sent them a lenghty form to fill out which the service department did immediatly and faxed back in my presence.

The service department finaly received a reply from CDWS denying my claim at 4:00 pm. I started this claim at approxmiatly 9:30 am. I paid for the work to be completed from my own funds and immediatly returned home to read the warranty coverage information that I received about 3 weeks after I made payment to CDWS. What I realized is that CDWS can deny nearly every claim a consumer makes against their vehicle.

Example: you notice that your vehicle has a leak of some sort. You take the vehicle in in for diagnostics which determine you have a faulty radiator hose that have allowed the coolant to fall below safe levels. CDWS will not pay for the hose repair even though it will save your vehicles engine. They can reference it as operator negligence and deny the claim.

There are many other Direct marketing companies selling similar products as well. Helpful hints: request a confirmation number that references the conservation (a month and date is not an acceptful confirmation number. BE AWARE of generic quotes that do not have your vehicles specific information on them. It is typical for marketing companies to be very generic. It makes their work much easier. BE WISE and check the web and ask friends for references.

I purchased the warranty contract from Endurance on 2/28/2014 for my 2004 BMW X5. Coverage for this contract is the XTRA SUPREME as referred to by Endurance, at a cost of $3,364. On 6/11/2014 the vehicle appeared to have engine problems, and after immediately parking on the side of the road, a flat-bed tow truck then took the vehicle to BimmerTech in Orlando, FL shortly after to get diagnosed. After incurring a cost of $380 for diagnosis at my own expense, it was determined that the vehicle needs a replacement engine. I was told shortly after that an adjustor needed to inspect the engine, which he/she did and the outcome was never communicated to me or BimmerTech. Endurance requested the bill of sale for the vehicle and any service records available, which I faxed to them as instructed. After several days of not receiving any communication, Endurance informed BimmerTech that the claim was denied, and that I should speak to them over the phone to find out more. I was told that the claim was denied because the latest service record on 8/29/2014 showed the car had a few hundred miles less than in 2/28/2014 when the contract was purchased. I explained the vehicle was not driven often in that period, and provided proof of ownership and proof of insurance for my second vehicle and proof of insurance for a third vehicle I drive on a regular basis, as requested by a manager named "Dan", who told me that he would resolve the matter. He never did resolve anything nor did he communicate with me ever again. I was told multiple times that "Dan" was the person handling my claim, yet whenever I asked to speak to him I was told I could not, when I asked why, the customer service rep had no answer. Thereafter I communicated with Endurance continuously, repeating myself every time, since every time there was a different, equally incapable and powerless customer rep on the other side of the phone, repeating the same scripted answer. In summary, their reason for denying the claim is completely arbitrary and has no basis in the contract that was purchased. There is absolutely no clause that stipulates the vehicle has to be continuously driven either before or after the contract start date. Furthermore, the contract was sold without a vehicle inspection which would have avoided this entire situation. It has now been 43 days since Endurance was first contacted, and no resolution has been reached. In addition to breaching the contract, there is evidence of false advertising on the Endurance website (http://www.endurancewarranty.com/why-endurance). As of 7/23/2014 1:00 PM ET, in a paragraph on the aforementioned web address belonging to Endurance, it is stated "Unlike many protection plan resellers, Endurance is the direct administrator and obligor of every plan we offer. That means there's no middleman involved, and we can be with you every step of the way - from quote to claim...." Such a thing cannot be further from the truth, as I was told by Endurance customer service representatives over the phone, and in multiple occasions (I have thankfully recorded my conversations with them) to personally contact Interstate National Dealer Services of Florida, Inc., who is the administrator of the warranty contract, in order to resolve the matter with them! That means they are neither the direct administrator nor the obligor of the warranty contract!!! So in essence Endurance is not the warrantor, Endurance is simply a sales front for other companies' services. Endurance IS the middleman, as opposed to what they state on the website. In summary, Endurance is neither the direct administrator nor the obligor of the warranty contract, has arbitrarily denied my legitimate claim, and gives a bad reputation to the way we conduct business in America.
