I got approahed byWesley Anderson of PEHHS over the phone and he explained that PEHHS is a Private Equity Head Hunting Service (PEHHS)company, finding work asignments for profesionals like me within the venture capital company world. He said that the company is over 14 years in business with a success rate of 85% Believing all this without any hard evidence, I have signed up and paid a total of $3,500.00 in two payments of each $1,750.00. Wesley Anderson explained to me how he is going to market my background. The contract I have signed ran 4 month. The first month was marketing work, where Wesley Anderson contacts venture capital companies by phone and email. He claims, that he has over 1400 contacts in the venture capital and private equity company world. Again,I believed him without sawing an evidence that this is correct.The following 3 month was follow up work and potential intervies from his marketing campaing which was done during the first month.
During that first month, Wesley Anderson set up websites for his clients where you can loggin and see what work he has done on a daily basis. All you see is this:
"Hiring manager of 4 various PE firms contacted today by email. E-mail sent to the hiring manager along with client resume and brief summary of clients credentials. Received a call back from one HR manager already stating notice of further interest. Follow up with submitted resumes is scheduled for next week"
This is an example of the entries Wesley Anderson has done on my personal PEHHS website, sometimes in slightly different wording, every day for one month. 3 monts went by and nothing happened exceptone interview with a guy named Eric Gordon who is or is not a venture capital recriuter/HR manager. The three phone intervies with Eric Gordobn went well and at the last minute he told me that they had chosen another candidate for the job. Surprisingly, I have found out that Wesley Anderson is always using this misterious Mr. Gordon and many other clients had expereinced the same whatI did, that the interview went well but at the end, Eric Gordon told every one he has cosen another candidate.
