I was shopping at Target in Frederick with my wife and child. Eric struck up a conversation saying that he was looking for stuff for his child and asked about my child. Before long he started to inquire about what i do for a living and wanted to exchange information saying that he was expanding business in the frederick and was looking for reps. He never really seemed to have anything to get in the store as we had left the baby section and came back to pick something else up and he was still hovering in the baby section looking for people.
This is going to sound the same as Ripoff Report: #221722, because it is almost identical to that report except it was in Feb 2008 and in the Safeway shopping center in Germantown, MD. Same approach with a comment on my sports team hat, everything. It is curious that even after responding to the other ripoff report, Eric still uses the exact same approach that was described online in a ripoff report. I am glad that he did as it made identifying the scam so much easier after doing a simple Google search for his name and finding the previous report.
I did not post his ""Mobile"" number as the other report did, only because it has been done already. But I did post the ""Office"" number on his business card as I did not see it in the other report.
If you are reading this then hopefully it is because you also were given his business card and did a websearch of your own.
After I post this report, I am sending a final text message to the Mobile number I have with the following text.
""Do not contact me again. Search for your name on ripoffreport.com for more information.""
