I purchased a sundress and a pair of sandals from Ericdress. The dress arrived without an invoice in the package and in a ziplock bag inside a mailer. The dress was terribly constructed as if a 5 year old put it together, the neckline was so small I could not fit it over my head. I ordered the XXXL due to it coming from China were their sizes tend to run small. I contacted PayPal immediately to open a 'resolution.' They(ppl) referred this information to Ericdress who never responded to my inquiry. Three weeks later I received the refund.
Next I ordered a pair of 'butterfly' sandals for my daughter who's 6 months pregnant in a size 7 1/2. She received them it was a size 9-10. I requested info for a return and refund. And opened another 'resolution' with PayPal. Ericdress sent me an email stating they were going to 'deny' any request for refund. They never tried to communicate with me or send any info for returning my order. I'm still waiting to see the outcome of this one.
It has become a trend for Chinese internet companys to SCAM the global public and it needs to STOP NOW!!! They seem to be actively working to defraud as many online shoppers with brazen disgard! I will not shop CHINA ever again! You'll find them all over Ebay touting their wares and unafraid on any consequences because usally there are none that can be enforced!
Solution? Stop buying from these people! Send a message that we won't be screwed, ripped off, robbed or lied to!
DO NOT EVER ORDER ANYTHING FROM ERICDRESS. They are a total ripoff. This is what I experienced while trying to buy a handbag.
1) ordered handbag and paid them via paypal
2) heard nothing from them for two weeks
3) when I wrote to customer service I was sent a "tracking" link that did not work. After complaining twice more I was sent the info that my package had gone to a processing center in CHINA!!! This is the first time I had any idea that this is a Chinese company - so they are deliberately misleading people into believing they are doing business with an American company - when it's a Chinese ripoff outfit all along.
4) after another month of complaints to their customer service dept. I never received the merchandise of the refund. I was promised over and over again that my package was due to arrive by a certain date and of course it never did.
This company is totally dishonest - spread the word.
