I bought a new house in the country. I signed up for excede internet through wildblue because well it is all we can get. I signed up for their new UNLIMITED DATA PLAN. Now after 5 months they call me today to say hey you are using too much data. I was like uh I have unlimited, she said yes I know but we are going to change that and now only give you 150 gb. If you go over that we will slow down your speed and then cancel you. That is classic bait and switch. Oh and then I said well maybe I will call back and cancel then, and she said no you can't because only one other person knows we are lowering people's speed. Only me and one other person are calling people because we didn't want a big deal made over it. That sounds really shady. We cannot get television where we are and barely was able to install the dish for excede. I am stuck with this and constantly worried about my internet time.

We contacted direct tv for service to our new home and were sent to excede internet for our internet services. First we were not provided with a router we had to purchase this separate on our own then for the first 2days we really couldn't get online as it just stopped working after a couple min. Repeatedly!!! So after we had the service for 5 days I decided to check our internet usage on the website and it stated we had exceeded the 20gb allowed and would need to purchase more!!! I assumed this had to be some mistake because we weren't even able to get on the first couple days for more than a couple minutes and then once we were able to use the service it was only used for a small amount of time looking up stuff for a school project for one of the kids, except when my husband watched Netflix during what was suppose to be free time from 12am to 5am. I called the company to find answers and the employee was very rude and could not tell me how we had used the allowed data (I am positive we did not use this much and were being scammed).The employee cont

to attempt to bully me into purchasing additional data packages and when I stated I wanted to cancel the service I was threatened with huge early cancellation fees. After 5days!!! It isn't like we had used the service for any length of time. I am disgusted by this company and by direct t.v. For recommending them!!!

On October 1, 2014, I purchased internet service thru one of Excede Reps by the name of Evan Phillips. We had a lengthy conversation over the phone about how great internet service was thru Excede. My main question to him was, can my son play the xbox thru Excede can we watch Netflix? Of course he said…very short lag time, 1/3 of a second.

We were in the process of moving into our new home on the 1st and 2nd of October, we had no time to get on the internet. On 10-3-14, my son let me know he could not get on the internet thru xbox, my daughter also stated the internet was very slow on her cell. I sent a text message to your Rep Evan at 5:06 AM 10-4-14, about how slow the internet was and at times we had no internet at all (I took pics from my cell phone to send to Evan to prove we had no signal) Evan told me on Sunday maybe my router was going out and to go buy a new one, I did. He text me the router to go buy, I text him back it’s the exact router I’m using in my house. I bought a new one anyways thinking that mine could be going out. No changes in connection. The entire weekend the internet was in and out.

Unfortunately the service has not performed well.I started calling customer service department on 10-6-14, complaining about the service provided to me. We trouble shooted, they told me all was ok…all the lights were green. Called 10-7-14, talked to customer service again, Informed them I not happy with the service being provided. Service was in and out. Could not get on xbox and could not watch Netflix.

On 10-9-14, called customer service, spoke to Destiny a rep and Nekia a floor supervisor in the Illinois office. I was not a happy camper. I wanted to cancel my service I asked for my money to be refunded to me $99 installation fee and $75.49 monthly fee. The response was no, and that a $361 early termination fee would be charged. I was locked into a 2 yr contract, I told Nekia..I NEVER signed anything.

The sales rep clearly states in his text messages to me and by the first phone conversation that we could game and watch Netflix thru Excede. That has not happened.

Today, I asked that my money be refunded since I am unable to use the service and my contract to be terminated.

We had Wildblue internet and they wanted customers to upgrade to a faster Excede internet. We did and this was 23 months ago. They came out put in Excede and used the Wildblue Dish. It would not work and they came out several times to adjust the dish. i have zero usage and they sent out a Tech again in May 2014. The tech could not fix it so he turned off the Dish. He said they would issue credit for not being able to get signal and send it to the next level to get another Tech to come out. That was in May. i started calling then after not hearing anything fot 3 months. They still were billing me too!

I would call call and be put on hold. I showed the tech today I was on phone for 45 minutes to get him out there this time. I had used email and they would sent back saying ticket closed. Open another ticket and I did and they still did nothing and closed ticket. I still have no internet people! Don't get this internet!

Today the tech came out and they charged me &170.00 for a new dish in a new spot. It was never going to work where they had put it. Why was I charged to get the dish I should have had to begin with? I have had zero usage for 90% of the 23 months. You can check the usage. They don't care you are in a contract and a Supervisor can't call you back from this company. They can't call out. I asked over and over for a Supervisor and they were busy and I asked on the phone and by email for a Supervisor to call.

They are a rip off and they have the worse customer service I have ever seen. Stay away if you can.

I went online,signed up for EXCEDE Satelite Internet.

Excede charged me $89.98 then 2 days later charged me $101- no install fee.

EXCEDE

VIASAT

WILDBLUE

Neither gives a phone number.

Even though the Speed Test shows 25MBS download, most web access is slower access than my previous 2.5 MBS downloads.

Excede tech support-well it isn't our fault!!!
