A sales associate from Expect Payment Solutions came into our business promising to save us considerably on our merchant processing.
We changed our merchant processing to EPS. It was a NIGHTMARE from day one. From the moment we settled our first batch, it took over two weeks for the funds to reach our account. That was financially devastating but doesn't even compare to my major coplaint.
The sales associate, Amber Coonce, deceptively tricked us into a lease agreement on 3, yes 3, credit card terminals. We owned our own machine and had one point of sale. When I discovered this, Amber Coonce said that 2 machines were for our point of sale and 1 was a backup incase the other two break. I repeatedly told her that I di not want ANY of the leased machines, as 1 repeatedly told her we owned our own terminal.
Amber Coonce, refused to acknowledge that she decived us and refused to help get us out of this bull@#$% lease. She said we were in this lease with another company and there was nothing she could do. We repeatedly contacted ESP and were repeatedly told they were in a meeting discussing our situation. Well shocking, they never got back to us.
We cancelled their merchant service but hae been stuck with a lease on 3, yep 3 terminals at $210/month for 48 months. These three terminals sit on a shelf, two still in the box never used. EPS have washed there hands of this responsibility.
If Expect Payment Solutions comes in your door, kick them out. They are deceptive and corrupt.
Expect Pyment Solutions is dishonest company. Sales Rep. Jordan is a great sales rep who lied right to my face. She placed me in a "lease" for 48 months at $159 a month. A total cost of over $7000 for 2 cheap visa machines I did not need.
She showed me a comparison sheet of saving of $158.14 per month if I switched to Expect payment Solutions to process my credit cards. A week after I signed up a young man name Kyle showed up @ lunch time in our busy restaurant to drop off two visa machines that the company provides "just in case" my OWN POS system broke down. Together we laughted that his company did not have any confidence in their own eqipment beacuse they sent two!! He asked me to sign for delivery. I asked him "when I switch to another processor I just call you and you will come pick these up"? Then he says uhuh.
A week later $159 dollars is removed from my account for A LEASE of equipment along with a welcome letter me from FIRST DATA for my 48 month lease.They also ADDED this lease to my own personal credit report!!
In reality this makes my processing cost MORE than my previous processor. I have spent 4 years communicating with Derek Garvin at Expect Payment Solutions trying to get out of this lease. They claim if they can not save you money they will buy back the program.
I have proven over and over again to Derek Garvin the CFO of Expect that I am in fact paying MORE than I was before Jordan walked in my office and he does not return phone calls, does not answer emails, gives excuse after excuse, he is out of the country, has a death in the family, will get back to you, will send that information soon, his employee is still working on an analysis, yes he will get that removed from the credit report, is still working on that ect.
This has been a horrible experience. First Data claims the second I signed for delivery of those two cheap little Visa machines that Mr. Garvin SOLD them this "lease". They can not help me, they are simply a bank that purchased a lease from Derek Garvin.
I have NOT saved a penny. This company is dishonest. Their employees are dishonest. They scam businesses. They lie. They cheat. Someone actually wrote in these two visa machines on my contract AFTER I signed it. There is even two different types of handwritting on my contract where they wrote it in.
I would have NEVER signed up for a lease for equipment I DID NOT NEED nor intened to ever use if Jordan had simply been truthful. I have a MICROS POS system that has its own ability to swipe credit cards.
This company has to be dishopnest because NO ONE would sign up for a "lease" for $7000 that is placed on your personal credit report.
