My daughter is 5'0 115 lbs. She pulled into the parking lot at a Marshalls where she was approached by a man and a woman saying that they could remove a dent out of her car and a number of other things. My daughter is 17 and has her first car and she asked him how much. He told her 80 dollars. She said ok and the guy started to do somethings to her car. She then told the lady that she was going to go into the store to get some cash and the female told her no and continued to make small talk and distract her.
The guy then told her he was done and he wanted her to go to a specific ATM. SHe said she then started to get nervous she went to the ATM and the guy told her she owed him 280 dollars. She told him that he told her 80 dollars first He told her that she owed him 280 and it was deal because he did 500 dollars worth of work to her car. She told him that she did not have 280 dollars and it told her that she had to give him his money or else. She said she really scared at this point and she continued to tell him she did not have 280. He then said just give me 150, so she tried to get 150 out of her account but the ATM had a 100 limit, when she took the 100 out the guy then took the money and told her she needed to go into one of the stores around and get him a gift card or something for the rest of the money. After a few moments of telling the guy she had no more money to give him he drove off.
My duahgter said she wrote down the number on the side of the truck which was 314-202-1535. She called me and told me what happened. I first called the number to try and speak with someone and a female answered the phone. She said she would have someone named Peter call me back in 3 hours. I waited until the next day. I called again and the female answered again. I asked for Peter and when he got on the phone I explained the reason I was calling and he asked me what I wanted. I told him I wanted him to return the money and he told me that she was stupid for giving him the money and we "Niggers" sell crack to our kids in the street and kill kids everyday. He said stop selling crack in the street and killing your own kids n****r. He then hung up the phone.
I called the number continuously to force him to pick up and after a while he did. I explained that I would be filing a police report on him and I had his license plate number and will be going to the police station. He said so what you n****r and hung up. I then post my experience on FACEBOOK and www.kanyetothe.com and everyone started to call the number and address him and the issues. I dont know what all was said but the lady then called me back and said that she would like to give me the number of the person who scammed my daughter father and he has agreed to give me my money back. At this point I was recording the phone calls because i wanted to have proof of what was happening.
She gave me the number of 314-412-8320. I called the number and a man named Samuel answered the phone I spoke with him and told him all that had happened and what was said. He stated that he was sorry and he would give me back my money and he said that he was a christian and he tries to help his son and his son was on drugs and he was truely sorry and if I give him until Tuesday he would meet me to give me my money back.
I agreed and he apologized again and we ended the call. I waited until Tuesday as requested and called I spoke with Alan and he stated he was aware of the situation and would meet me to give me the money back but he would not be able to do it until Wednesday evening at 5:30 I again agreed and ended the call. I called the next day and he would not answer the phone until I called him numerous times back to back. He then started to give me the run around saying he would westerrn union me the money and I said NO we can meet to get the money and the police station parking lot.
I said no I told him that I would be going to file a police report and he said he was not scared of the police. I went to the police and explained the situation and asked if I had any recourse he said I did not but he could call them for me and tell him he was investgating it to see if it would scare him into giving the money back. The officer called and the guy Alan said he agreed that he will meet me Thurday at the police station to give me the money back.
I went to the police station today at 5:30 and needless to say he never showed up. I called the guy and he continues to stall and try to get me to come to a location of his choosing to get the money. Beware of this guy he is bad news.
