Random Text showed up on my phone telling me that I was perfect for an extra in a Sara Jessica Parker HBO drama coming up soon. Curous I called the number from a land line. First time the number discconnected, the second time I got connected to someone on a very bad phone line (I am in Telecom Sales so found that interesting right off)

After listening to the woman on the phone talk for more than 5 minutes straight (yes I timed it) I was finally able to chime in when she was giving me feedback about my profile picture and started telling me that I could make a lot of money.

I told her several times that I did not load the picture that they had and I have done performance before and still do as a hobby and that I would not submit a Head shot like the one they had on the profile EVER.

After She realized that I was not driven by money she tried to connect me to customer service on my request to de-activate my account. In her words "She did not have the power to deactivate my account.

After sitting on hold (10 plus minutes) and an automated message telling me that I was the 4th caller than the third caller all the way to the next caller, I went to a voicmail box and was told to leave a message. Again sketchy for a national company with so many resources, you think they would have someone on the phones for customers and not a generic voicemail box.

I actually suggest you just go right to the website and de-activate it yourself. I was able to do that all while sitting on hold

The keep sending me emails from a director heavenlyhollywood@g___dot__m tell me i am wanted for and audion. To send my name, age, and stuff. Description stuff the company should already have if they saw my profile. I have responded plent of times and no answer! I respond right away too. They also called ne and said big name movies were interested in me for auditions, but i need to purchase a membership yet, i did for a week for 9 dollars i believe, and the audions i applied for during the week were the ones interested. Yea right!

Back when I lived in New York, I found explore talent online about 7 years ago at first it said it was free when I signed up but then they called my dad and told him if I wanted to get booked faster I would have to upgrade my membership and pay $30 or so a month and get professional photos taken by their photographers, my dad paid for the membership and we scheduled an appointment to go take the pictures, when we got there it was in one of the rooms in a building in Manhattan but there was about 20 people who were there to get their pictures taken so we waited about 4 hours to get my pictures taken, by the end after I took the pictures one of the guys my dad spoke to said that we had 3 choice of photo packages and it would be smart to get the one with the most pictures for full exposure so we got the $1,000 photoshoot package,

after we received the pictures we didn't know what we were supposed to do with them so we called and they said we would send them to agencies who contacted us but no one ever contacted us for about 6 months and my dad was still paying the $30 a month subscription so he called to cancel it and they refused to do it and said they would send him to collection if he refused to pay he cancelled it anyway...

to this day I have the pictures I took that day saved somewhere and haven't gotten rid of them cause they were pretty expensive, never got contacted by anyone.
