On February 15, 2015 I bought a 2003 Chevy impala for 4100 and I paid 1700 down. But the car has a lien on it and he didn't provide me with a lien release. Now I can't get my tags. They stopped answering the phone and never contacted me for my payment that was due March 15, 2015 I can't find fairway motors anywhere.

On May 15, 2014, I purchased a vehicle from Fairway Motor Cars in Tulsa, Oklahoma. My credit was not the greatest because of a previous marriage, so it was difficult to find financing. These people told me that they would easily get me financed. They delivered the car to a town close to where I live. I gave them the down payment, signed the paperwork, and drove a way with the vehicle.

One week later, I had to put a new set of tires on the car because two of them blew out. This was an extra $450. A week after that, I was contacted by the salesman. He told me that the loan did not go through and that the bank was requesting another $1250 in finance fees to close the deal. Even though I was extremely pissed, and because I liked the car, I agreed to give them the additional money. Another week goes by and I contacted the salesman to make sure that the loan went through. He told me that they had to go through another bank, but it was approved. He said that I would be hearing from the bank in a few days. A week later, I had to contact the salesman again because I had still not heard from the bank. The owner and the salesman would not take my call.

I called the original lender yesterday to see if they had actually approved me or not. They informed me that I had been approved on May 15, and that my first payment was due the day before yesterday! They also informed me that they did not have the title and that they were trying to get a hold of this dealership to find out where the title is. I asked them if they required $1250 up front to get my vehicle financed. They said that they never ask for any money up front to finance a vehicle. I am now driving on expired temporary tags and have no way of registering the vehicle. The saleman and the owner will still not answer my calls, and if and when I do get the title, I am going to have to pay penalties on it to get the car registered.

The salesman also told me that with this lender, that if I made my payment on time every month, my interest rate would go down after 6 months and that my payment would be about $100 less per month. This again was a lie. The bank said that they never do anything like that.

So now, I am stuck with a vehicle with brand new tires on that I cannot title or drive, a loan from a company that doesn't even have the title to my car, and I lost an additional $1250 because I am certain that they will not just hand over my money back to me, even though I have proof that they lied about the bank asking for the money up front.

If anyone knows of an attorney that will help me get my money back from these losers, please reply to this posting! I would greatly appreciate any help that I can get.

Remember this dealership if you ever go to purchase a vehicle and stay as far away from them as you possibly can!!!
