border line illegal

Purchased a car in 2014 and was told told if I made on time payments for one year I could refinance. After, one year tried to refinance and was told they do not refinance. I made an on line payment using an incorrect bank account number, on 11-1 when I called to correct it on 11-2 I was advised it would be no problem. They processed the original payment as a NSF and charged me 300 dollars interest, then because I was one day late they assessed another 313 dollars in interest for a total of 613 in interest in one month. My interest varies month to month by as much as 400 dollars and they can not explain to me how they get the amount. When I ask to speak to a supervisor they refuse to transfer me or state they will return my call but never do. I filed a complaint with the better business bureau, and flagship offered to give me back three days interest back but still cannot explain how they calculate my interest. For a 19,000 dollar vehicle I will have to pay close to 35,000. I pay 525.00 a month and in two years only 2800 dollars has went to my principal. Regardless of your situation, stay away from this company. They are unethical and dishonest and take advantage of people with poor credit who have few options.

This is by far pretty much the worst finance company or so called lender to deal with if you have an auto loan. They treat their customers like dog doo doo. Had I have known that this company would be like, I would have never signed a contract with honda to finance my civic. They call you even if you are JUST a day late on your payment. I spoke with a so called account representative named Monique, who basically told me may car would repossessed even just after 31 days, completely rude and has no manners, kept talking over me, and blind transferred me to a supervisor. Told the supervisor I would email Kelly who is the complaints specialist for this company. Spoke with another rep 10 months earlier by the name of Monica, same exact thing. If you also ask to speak with a supervisor they blind transfer you over to another customer service or collections agent who isn't. The representatives are extremely rude and hang right up on you or transfer you to someone else with no permission. I will be doing everything in my power to make sure in a couple months I can either get refinanced through another lender or trade my car in all together to get rid of these monsters. If you finance a car with these idiots, i strongly urge you DONT!

won't answer

Won't answer the phone customer service reps are unprofessional. My signature was forged and was spelled wrong. They say I bought a Mazda rx8 2008 for $30,252 but it was really 9800 for the sticker price and after my warranty taxes and fees it came to $15,900.

We have had our car financing for the past year with Flagship and its been horrible. Recently my wife was placed on disabiltiy and has had major problems in getting paid while on disabilty. We called Flagship and let them know we are trying to make payments and all of the agents have been down right rude. Telling us there is nothing they can do and they can't take even a partial payment it has to be paid in full. When we asked to speak to a manager the agent dodges the questions and starts asking if we can borrow money from someone else and have we tried asking others to borrow money. Then they go off saying how we signed a contract and this is effecting our credit. Really? We didn't already know that? Trying to get a hold of anyone that will even help you is a joke. The customer service is down right horrible and we want to resolve our account problems why do you think we are calling. We were given a supervisiors number only to have it be another run around and yet another rude agent telling us the same exact things and still could not talk to a supervisor. Since when does a company refuse payment, even a partial payment? The questions the agents ask are unehtical and are down right repulsive.

This company is full of crap. When we first got the loan several months ago, we got 6 phone calls within 2 days to find out our insurance company and other information. I told them 6 different times the information. On the 7th phone call I refused to give it again as they had the information, was told they didnt deal with our insurance company and we would need to switch companies. WRONG. any insurance is good as long as it meets state standards.

we were one day late on our payment, we called to make payment over the phone and they told us they could not accept payment that repossession has already been started, I told them we had a 10 day grace period and the rude lady told me i was full of crap and i needed to read the contract, so while on the phone i pulled the contract and read it to her. she tells me it was a mistake on their part for sending outdated paperwork. I asked to speak to a manager and she refused saying they did not want to speak to me beacuse i didnt know how to pay my bills. once i finally got manager on the phone, he took my payment not only for that month but for the following month too so i was ahead on payments. about two weeks later a repossession guy showed up at my house for the car. I got the company on the phone and they stated the notes in the computer said payment was not accepted. The payment had been taken out of my account. had to get cops involved and because i had proof the guy could not take my car.

decided to trade car in to get rid of company. Dealership sent flagship the payoff check, it was signed and accepted for. 10 days later i am getting phone calls threatening to take me to court because the payment had not been made. I told them I had traded the car in and the dealership already sent the check. I gave them the fed ex tracking number, check # and name of person who signed for the check. Was told that person did not work there and that i was resposnible for the bill. AFter much heated debate the customer service rep told me i was a bitch and to be prepared for court. I told her to bring it on because I had all the proof plus the recording of the phone conversation. At that point her tone changed and she said she would look into the matter,

later that night I logged into my online account and guess what it showed the check payment for the payoff and a 0 balance.

I will never do business with this company again.

I had a TERRIBLE experience with this finance company! They approved my car loan and I drove my new vehicle home only to have this company back out of agreement!! Simply over a misunderstanding on their part. My bad experience began when I received a "welcome call" from this finance company two days after securing loan and when asked who would be "primary driver" I answered my daughter who lives with me and is also on the auto insurance plan. They immediately showed concern over this even though I explained that I don't like to drive being that I am 66 years of age and have Rheumatoid arthritis. I explained that I am taking ownership of car but she is the one who always drives me to appointments and errands. I clearly stated that she lived with me and was on auto insurance policy but they accused me of making a "straw purchase" which I didn't have a clue was until I googled it later that day. Basically, they accused me of financing a car for my daughter which was untrue. Because of this, they backed out of loan agreement and tarnished my credit score too! Thank goodness for the car dealership for coming to the rescue to find another lender. Avoid this lender because they will go out of their way to find anything to deny you on...even unfactual claims!! Flagship Credit Acceptance is a very unethical finance company!!
