BEWARE of Flair Air Conditioning of Port Orange, Florida. They and their Sales Representative "Dale" are among the least professional businesses I have ever dealt with and they are definitely not recomended by this consumer. The short and not so sweet: I requested a quote on a complete new A/C system with installation -- a $10,000+ contract. I requested a specific technician, but was ignored. The retired technician who did contact me -- some guy named Dale -- scheduled an appointment for FOUR DAYS later, in spite of three weeks of constant 95+ degree temperatures in Florida, and after being told that our system was not functioning at all. On the afternoon of the appointment, Dale doesn't arrive on time but instead he telephones from another job and -- incredibly -- says he's "going to pass" on coming to provide the free quote I'd been waiting FOUR DAYS for because my name wasn't appearing in whatever public record of ownership he was reading from. Which, incidentally, he had no business sticking his nose into and which has nothing to do with the installation of air conditioning. When I told him what I thought of his cancellation, he told me to "go f***" myself. Had I known that I would be dealing with such a rude, ignorant and intrusive individual, I would not have scheduled an appointment with Flair to begin with. They came on a referral, and the person who referred them wil no longer be using their services. As it is, I'm probably fortunate to have not contracted Flair's services, judging by their behavior and by other reviews online. I will gladly spend my ten grand on air conditioning, but never in a million years would I spend it with Flair Air Conditioning.
