We took this company on thinking they were reputable only to find out after 15 or more jobs that they were dead beats. We found it necessary to go directly to thier clients in order to get paid. Only after we threatened leins and legal action to their respective clients did we get our money. It is unfortunate that companies likme this are allowed to do business. They take advantage of small contrctors thinking we are not smart enough to go after them when they show there stupidity.
I own a small renovation company/HardwayToGo Reno's and I have done work for Front Street FS for Justine J and Erica R with Front Street at two of their property locations - Claire's and Eddie Bauer stores in Edmonton, Alberta. Having worked at two Claire's stores - I haven't been paid. Quote unquote "we are looking into it". I was given a call to go to Eddie Bauers in Edmonton to adjust fitting room doors (wouldn't close) and three missing wall mount door stoppers. Having gone to the one store that had the quoted issues - Front Street informed me that I went to the wrong store. How can two stores (separate locations) have the exact same problem? I called Front Street and talked to Justine and was told that I didn't work at the authorized store, "we are not paying you". I plead with all small companies DO NOT WORK for FRONT STREET!!!
