I took it to Fry's and they told me it was past thirty days so without thier store warnty it was up to RCA to fix it. They gave me a number to call and it was no good then gave me another number and it was no good. So I looked at the back of the Tv and it gave me another number . This number was to the people who were to cary out the warnty Thier company name is H&E Factory Service at 1 -858-798-3300 and they sent someone to look at it. They were on time and friendly. He then told me it would cost me $163.00 to fix it and it was no longer undwr warranty ? He then gave me the same number as on the Tv and told me to call them to fix it ? When I called them they told me it would be cheaper to just buy another one ? A 90 day factory warrenty is 90 days and I am getting ripped off ! My name is Patrick S. Ryan and I am trying to get help for my friend who lost his speach after a stroke 3 years ago and asked me for my help. I was with him at Fry's and was the one who madr all the phone calls and set up the appointment for the service man to come out to fix it. What they are doing to my friend is wrong and we need your help. Thank you and I know you will help him.

My friend Bought a 50'' RCA Plasma TV from Fry's Electronics and Just under 2 months it stopped working. Fry's told him it was past 30 days and to call the factory.

The Factory send out a service man who told him it was going to cost him $ 165.00 to fix. The factory Warrenty is 90 days and nobody will fix it ?

I am trying to help my friend who lost his speach because of a stroke 3 years ago and can not fight for himself. He needs your help. Patrick from Las Vegas Nevada. Thank you !

Fry's Electronics runs Ads in the Newspaper and Online for great deals on Computers and Electronics, too good to be true and they are. After going to Fry's to get one of their "Daily Deals" I found out that all the "deals" were in opened boxes like they were used , or had been returned or something and if I am paying several hundred dollars for a laptop computer I want it brand new in an unopened box. It looks like they were just trying to liquidate a bunch of stuff that had been used and returned , or floor models and such , some had scratches on them like one of these "Rent To Own Places" have for sale when their stuff is returned. Fry's has a return ploicy of up to 60 days, so a person could have had this laptop for 60 days and returned it used and beat up. I told them I wanted New in Box, thats when they called the another Store and they said they had a couple in unopened Boxes. After getting to that Store across Town, the Salesman in the Computer Department went and got one from the back in an unopened box and I said I would take it. He then said he was "required" to carry it up front to the register and he would meet me there. He took his time and finally gave the clerk the Computer and as I was checking out I noticed this one was not the one he showed me in the Computer Department, it was in an Opened Box with one side of the corner crushed like it had been on a pallet with something sitting on top of it, he had switched the laptop Computer to a returned, used one and tried to con me into taking it out without realizing it as they were very busy upfront at the registers. I walked out and bought a new one on sale down the street.

Employee sold me a power supply to my computer, that was well underqualified, telling me ""That should be plenty for you"". Afterwards (A month later) the power supply started failing on me. (It itself was not going bad, it was underqualified to run my equipment)...The power supply, as I later found out, was not being sold to me as advertised. (500w supply advertised), and only gave 408w. When taken back was told I would be charged EXTRA money to have my machine tested for errors, even though I had already spent well over $1000 on parts for the computer itself, and wanted to check if they had sold me bad parts. (I did not know the power supply was the exact problem until I was advised online and by several friends that COULD be the problem).
