My husband keep getting these great travel deals at work on fax machine for years. Finally he said lets try it. When he called and they gave a good spell about how it works, etc. We went for it bait, hook and sinker. Sent the inital money then they ask for another payment $50 per person by money order.. That there got me little curious. But he sent it. Over all Over $600.
We started in January and here it is finally end of April and we still are messing with this. I swore I would NEVER NEVER DO this again. I'd rather spend the money and go to a REAL travel Agent with a Peace of mind. But we finally got the FINAL paper work and Now they say we have 24 hrs to accept the quote or pay $25 for each add'l. FIANALLY I said to my Husband enough is enough. He agreed. Lets cut our ties and go to A real company. We did get our quote today and the total was over $3,000 with the money we already gave them. I Would NEVER recommend anyone to do what we did. This is very miss leading and they know where the fine line of telling a lie and not. The little words that get you like pay the processing fee,booking fee.. etc etc. At first you don't know what the company your dealing with is. I googled it and nothing but after you pay your money and they come back as FUN TIME travel then I found this!! OMG I told my husband to stop and cut our loses. He said for sure and we are done!
I paid for a vacation for 4. That was suppose to cost a total of $936. When it got time to book my vacation, they sent me that it would be an additional $400 per person. I was furious!!. I followed all of their guidelines. Booked 90 days prior and not at peak season. I was told that it wouldn't cost me a penny more than $936 as long as I followed the guideline. I can't get my phone calls or emails returned. If it is returned, I am told that I didn't deal with them. So upset that this has happened to me and others!!
So I been dealing with this company since the beginning of the year. I have tried numerous times to settle the agreement we made. I paid about a total of $1,750 for 8 travlers and i get a response they want to return $354.00. This company thinks it can take american citizens money and get away with it. I called numerous attorneys here in California to be able to open a case action law sue agaist this place. I contacted the Attorney General in the city of Meryland and i wasn't able to get a good response from them. I would like to hear back from any person who's been ripped off by this so called agency. I would like for us to make a stand and get our money back.
I Did buy a vacation from Adventure in Travel in 2014 . I talked to travel agent named Jenny. She promised that i will get a vacation cruise & all inclusive for 2 people for $690 including booking fees and taxes .I had to pay her by electronic check at that moment only and the rest later when i will start my vacation booking. I knew nothing of Fun Time or the booking prosess/ 90 day before i wanted to go until I tried to book the vacations . I did sent over $200 to travel center for booking fees and reservation for activation/ quote. And then Fun time reservation send me the email with the Quote and it says over $830 per person and they need my credit card information to charge me for. I have called serveral times & e-mailed them and either they don't answer or reply. I told them that i already paid for the packeges to Adventure travel and that all I should need to pay are only some fees . I have also tried to call Jenny & have left over 5 messages with no return calls.!! She is always out & will get back to me. I finally figured out that there is obviously a scam & started looking on the internet to see they have an F by the BBB. I want my money back from either company since I did not receive a vacation, only aggravation.
