Fun Time Vacations LLC Reviews

I received a flyer from a company called Corprate Travelers (I am filing a complaint about them seperately) On a side note, our company has been getting these flyers for years so I thought they were legit.

The flyer was for an all inclusive trip including airfare to Bahamas or Jamaica (my choice)

After giving $300 for the package deal, I recevied an email about a week later from Fun Time Vacations.

They required $69 per person booking fee, after paying that, then asked for another $50 (not even sure what that was for) and then was told to fill out the vacation request. I requested they give me the locations of the resorts so that I could research and find out which one I would rather go to, and they said they dont provide that info..??? Red flag #1. So I just went onto google and found that more people enjoyed Bahamas. I submitted my request and a few days later got itnerary that had an additional $900 per person fees. Red flag #2. I called them and they said that Corporte Travelers is who i puchased the package from, they just make the arrangements and I would have to call them. So I did. Corporte Travelers said I need to make sure my trip is at least 90 days in advance, fly out on a Tuesday and not within 10 days of a major holiday. So I contacted back Fun Time and they said I had to pay $25 re booking fee. Reluctantly, I did. I submitted a new vacation request and to the letter did what i was instructed to do, as well as provided copies of the documentation from Corp Travelers and cancelled checks showing what I paid for and what I expected.

Today, I get back another itenerary with an additional $778.27 per person and am now going back and forth with someone via email telling me that it is during off peak season and that is why its more. I noted that its not and am waiting an actual answer regarding the additional $778. This company is the most difficult company I have ever dealt with and they keep coming up with reasons to add more fees to my trip.

Honestly, after googling and looking up flights, I found a round trip flight to bahamas on my dates for $400 and a few resorts that offer all inclusive deals for less than $600. So for $1000 (a few hundred less if I paid their $778) i could book the same trip but probably better because I will know where I am staying, what airline I am traveling with etc.

Dont give this company a dime, do yourself a favor, buy a groupon vacation or just reserach and book your own trip.

These people are a total racket and I hope someone has the legal ability to stop them from ripping off more people.

I purchased a package for a vacation from Travel Services, I was told my package would be $484 per person. I asked, would there be any other fees, I was told no that that included everything. Airfare, All-inclusive, hotel for 7 people. I paid them $931, then I received information to fill out from Travel Center, I filled it out and had to pay $414 ($69 booking x 6 - I didn't have to pay for the child). Then I received booking forms, I filled those out and sent with another check for $150 ($50 per couple booking fee). They only take checks - HMMM wonder why?? I then received another pack of papers to fill out that was the final booking forms. I filled them out and sent them for my quote. My quote came back as $702 more per person than what was already paid. When I contacted them about it, I was bounced back and forth from the booking department to customer service department and told to contact the orginial company that I purchased from. I contacted them and they said, "Do you have it in writing" for the $484 amount that was originally told to me. Well, no, because I didn't realize I was going to get ripped off by a travel service. When they email you and say to contact the customer service number for help 800-861-7313 you will get a machine that says, "All agents are busy try your call again later or email [email protected]." When you email, they tell you to call that number. So, needless to say, many calls and emails later, no satisfaction and no refunds, out $1,495 and no family vacation. Since I have been lied to, bounced around with no answers, there is NO WAY, I am giving them anymore money. What is to say that I would even get my airline tickets or hotel confirmation or meal tickets. SPREAD THE WORD - If you get a vacation package deal over the fax - DON'T DO IT!!!

We are time share owners and recie invite to a vacation promotion. For sitting through this presentationreceived vouchers for two "free" arline tickets and two "free" nights in a hotel anywhere in the continential US. We had to send in 148.00 to get the vouchers registered so we could use them. You send all your request through the The Travel Center and they forward it to FUn Time Vacation Booking. What a nightmare. The Travel Center employees clueless. We were given false information during our first attempt at booking causing us to have to pay additional $25.00 rebooking fee. We were sent booking forms that requested our personal information and instructed toit back to the number on the form only to find out after calling the travel center to inquire about the reservation status that the fax number the form was no longer their number so we don't know who received personal information. After sending in all the info and the additional 25.00 and confirming everything with their pathetic customer service dept they sent back a quote that was outrageous. We requested an itemized statement the booking and were told via email that it was the policy of the company to only provide a per person quote not an itemized statement. Then after confirming that the dates we requested were off peak the quote stated that the dates we requested were not in the off peak time frame. Called the company and was told that was an error and the reason our rates were so high is that we didn't book 90 days out. We started booking in November for May. After months of back and forth, email after email, falsehoods and excuses I am done. I have requested a complete refund and will file with the Maryland Attorney Generals Office and BBB. I will use social media to get the word out that these two companies are a bate and switch operation and have the worst customer service. The incidents listed above are only a few of the encounters we have had with these two companies. Before you go to any presentation, check out who they use for their voucher redemption and research them well.
