Gforce Chips GFChips Sent me two chips, when I ordered only 1, charging my account twice. Then I returned, and never heard from them. Called 3 weeks later and they never answered the phone.
After my dealings with GForce Chips o called "customer service department", I would never spend a cent with them ever again.
I returned my part to them, uninstalled, because they allege "100% money back guarantee if you are not 100% satified in big print ( which is far from the truth ) only to find out they will charge a restocking fee of 25% ( which is only mentioned if you look in terms and conditions way down on bottom of the page )
I was not 100% satisfied when I found out what very well could happen to my car's warranty!
The employee got rather loud and kept talking over me then put me on hold. Now- this is supposed to be a plug n play install. It isn't. You get generic instructions ( which don't work for my car ) and then they instruct YOU to try to find what wires to hook this up to by using a test meter to poke and prod your wire harness and hope you got the right wires. Now- when YOU poke holes in the wire harness' insulation, it allows moisture to get in, cause corrosion- which will change the signals coming from your sensors, and as I was told by my dealer- "will void your warranty due to it wouldn't be a failure due to a manufacturing defect, but the damage you did searching for the right wires to hook it to and using Scotch Lock connectors". ( they crimp on folks! ) My advise- don't waste your money on this outfit. Bad customer service. Search the web-look for reviews from independent people, not reviews written by webmasters......
This product is junk and the biggest scam I've wittnessed in my 65 years. I installed the chip according to scetchy instructions on my 2011 Toyota Tundra, gave it 2 months trial, and did'nt see one bit of difference in power or gas mileage. In fact it drained my battery down completely over a period of three days according to mechanics tests. Don't waste your money like I did!!!!!
I installed the "chip" in a 2013 GMC before going on vacation. We drove across west Texas in a 1200 mile trip. I have always carefully logged my fuel consumption, and after finishing the trip there was absolutley no difference in mileage or perceived performance. This "chip", actually a simple resistor in a fancy metal box, changed nothing except my bank account. Ripoff!
