GForceChips Reviews

In March of 2014 I purchased a Performance Chip for my vehicle. After a couple of months I realized that my gas milage had reduced by 3mpg instead of increasing the 10% claimed on the website. I contacted Technical Support and was told to return the chip for testing. I returned the chip and they sent me a new one. The replacement chip is doing the same thing, reducing my mpg by 3mpg. I contacted the Sales department to request a refund and spoke to a Sales Manager (very rude man). He stated that if it has been past 14 days, they will not provide a refund. Their website clearly states on the main page "What sets us apart from our competition, we offer a solid product that we stand by, so much so that if you are not satisfied in any way we will offer you a 100% no questions asked refund on installed modules." I mentioned this to the Sales Manager and he stated in our terms of service aggrement on our site it clearly states no refunds after 14 days. In my opinion, this is a case of false advertisement and they should be held accountable..

I ordered a "chip" about 23 days ago. I called one day after about 10 days and asked why I had not recieved my un it. The man went on and on with all sorts of excuses on the defensive and all I said was hello. He told me 21 day to recieve the unit. I said fine, no reason to be so defensive.

I sent an email after recieving confusing emails. I was given a tracking number and by the way, they have had my money since I ordered the unit. Now mind you all I was doing was sending emails back and forth asking some questions about the unit because I recieved an email stating it was shipped. After 4 days, the package never moved which only meant that the package was never delivered to the post office or it fell through the cracks somewhere.

So in a very nice toned email, I sent I asked a simple question, why did the email say it was sent when it was not. I was told it would be sent Monday, that's today. In emails I sent back and forth, I asked him to be honest, did the unit work anywhere near what the website said? He said the question was laughable and there was proof on the website. i told him that anyone can photoshop a website.

He then stated that he could send the unit Monday or just cancel the order. I told him that I was willing to try the unit out and go the 100 or so miles, that I was just trying to be honest about this. I really hoped he had something here and I could benefit from it. I told him I had read other blogs other than what is on his site and they say it does not work, that it has a dummy chip and nothing more than a chip resister to fool the engine into thinking it was getting cold air.

I told him I was asking for some honesty, to simply send me the unit i paid for or cancel the order.

I told him that if he could stand behind his unit and will guarantee that it works as stated on the site to send me the unit. I was willing to try it and I would be honest about the outcome.

I said Please send the unit if it works or refund my money. Well guess what, he is refunding my money. how about that. Funny how it takes minutes to take money from an account, but it takes four days to see it on my statement when refunded.
