I am sorry I had to do this but I know no other way to try and get this fixed. I joined this gym back in I believe October of 2011. When I joined the gym I also figured I would get a personal trainer since I wanted to get in the best shape I could and had no knowledge of working out. I got the $20 membership. When I first started going to the gym it was great and I would meet with my trainer once a week to get my workout for the rest of the week. I was suppoed to get one hour a week four times a month. After about two months they switched my trainer. Once that took place my trainer started canceling my appoinments and when I did show for my appoinments he wouldn't be there or would be double booked and expected me to share my time slot with another person. I was not paying $150 to share my time! At the last appoinment that I had with the guy I found him sleeping in his office. At that time I made a complaint at the desk and I also called the company that he worked for and told them everything that was going on and I said it has been nothing but a waste of money and that I was no longer interested in their services since they weren't keeping up their end of the agreement. They told me they would cancel the personal trainer for me without a problem. So the last payment to the trainers was in April. I continued to use and pay for the gym up until I believe August of 2013. At that time I was pregnant and didn't need the gym so I called and canceled that as well. The person I spoke with said not a problem and they stopped taking money out of my bank account. Now we are in May of 2015 and I am finding out that I have over a $700 bill for the personal trainer that I should owe nothing for and somehow I owe over $80 bill at the gym even though I canceled and they stopped taking the payment. I am going to report this company to the BBB and I am going to see what else I can do about getting this fixed. I have proof of all payments that I made to both entities so why they believe that I owe this money makes no sense. Not only am I binded by a "contract" but so is the other party. And the "other party" did not hold up their end of the bargin.
