I went to look for a truck... I found one i was pressured to get it... i was taken to show all the work that was done on their trucks...(A sales Tatic) I was given brochures of all the good things they offer but when i got to closing i was told oh by the way everything that i said came with a not exactly... They ran my report thru 6 credit bureaus to get approved ( you know the ones that if you keep trying then we would get you approved at your cost) yes it caused my score to drop atleast 30 points. They promised things and once i tried to ask for help i was told (oh look at your contract you signed) yes, but i just brought the vehicle where are their morals and values (oh they dont have any this is just Business... They are very sneaky they have to have dirty tatics to sell their trucks READ YOUR CONTRACT BEFORE YOUR SIGN. and make sure what you sign you take full responsibility even if the engin motor brakes or what ever else go out be ready to repair your self. So if you dont care then Go To Gibson World.... Not your World.
If I could rate lower than one star I would. Derek charles. The sales manager at gibsom truck world is a first class asshole. I can say this with honesty because as I was going on vacation I put a one THOUSAND dollar deposit on a truck on their lot and when I got back. I had asked to get a little more money on my trade in but mr charles thought I meant I was firm on the new number and if they did not meet me on the new number I was not going to buy the truck. I am not sure about the rest of you who read these but I have bought vehicles in the past and negotiations are a major part of buying a vehicle.
Mr charles apparently doesn't know this word so behind my back, without calling me first, sold the truck I had the deposit on. Instead of mr charles owning up to his mistake, he tried to pass the blame onto me and when I told him I had cash for the original quoted amount he went ahead and placed the blame on his sales reps. Whom he told that they would look at my truck one more time before making thr final offer. So for those who read this. DEREK CHARLES, sales manager at Gibson Truck World is a first class a**hole who does not care about customer service. Needless to say they have lost my business and this will not be the only place I write a review.
