I spent $574 on what I thought was going to be a nice gift. The ring was to be completed on Apr 28 2014 after about nine days of being ""Handcrafted by their goldsmiths""

Well the 28th has passed.

The concern is I have no ring, I am out $574 and Glancara, nor [email protected] have responded to my repeated attempts to contact them.

Glencara Fraudulent Company

Glencara or Trk Holdings is a fraudulent company. They debit your bank account fraudulently. The first sign that they are not legitimate is when your bank does not send you a security code when purchasing items from their website.

All service numbers are not functional. No one replies to your emails or letters. They are hiding their identify and contact details.

The rings will not arrive. You lose your money.

I ordered a ring that my fiance wanted as his wedding band, getting the online message that the size was in stock and it would be shipped within 24 hours, receipt within 7 days. I ordered it a month before the wedding, and chose to pay through Paypal. After 7 days and no ring, I sent them an email. Got a message back that due to their email overload, please allow 5 to 7 days for a response. Wedding was still 3 weeks away, I figured okay...another week passed, still no word. So I called...the message given is all staff have been put to work answering emails, please contact them that way. So I did...again. Got the automated response again. So, I opened a dispute through Paypal, who froze my transaction amount and kept them from getting it. And THEN, they got back to me right away. I was told that the goldsmith they work with had let them down and not fulfilled the orders, due to unforseen circumstances. And they were an honest company, my order WOULD be filled, and they regretted that I had felt the need to open a dispute through Paypal. Then I was offered a 10% discount on my ring, but only if I closed the dispute...they said they can't process any discounts while a dispute was open. I said I was sorry, but I wasn't interested in a discount, I wanted the ring for my wedding...and I couldn't afford to blow off that much money in case I never got it.

I waited 7 days after opening the dispute, then I escalated it to a claim. Meanwhile, my wedding came and went. I had to order a different ring from someone else for my husband, and it was sent the day I ordered it, but it was half the price and similar...had to have something for him for the wedding. Glencara waited the 10 days given them by Paypal to respond, and then they issued a tracking number. Paypal and I tried to track this number for 4 days, and the Irish Post never recognized it for either of us. Just got word today that Paypal decided in my favor, and my money was restored to me. Yayy Paypal!! I knew I was right to pay through them! Now, I can order the ring my husband wanted, from a reputable seller, and I'm forever grateful to Paypal!!

To ALL who is going to buy a BEAUTIFUL ring from GLENCARA,

To ALL who is going to buy a BEAUTIFUL ring from GLENCARA,

This is a general reminder for you.

I ordered a ring from this company more than one month ago. The order status is ON HOLD until now. The phone number on their offical page is not working. Their email account just like a rubbish. They seldom reply your enquires. Delivery date of my ring has been delayed again and again. This should be my engagement ring. Claddagh ring meant special to me, I wish I could have a beautiful engagement ring in my life. Unfortunately, this company ruined my dream. The date of engagement has no ring! However, I wil not give up to get my money back.

I hope everyone can see this post and avoid being cheated by GLENCARA again. Never buy a ring from this company or you just waste your money and time.

LOVE,

A stupid FOOL who is being cheated for a month by GLENCARA

This is NOT an Irish company. I live in Ireland and fell for this scam by ordering a ring it was going to be posted to me from Galway. I smelled something fishy when I tried ringing the two landline numbers. The first number I tried, which is displayed at the top of the page, disconnects straight away. The second number (in 'Contact Us' section) rang out and calls went unreturned. I rang those two number numerous times over a period of twould weeks. There's a third phone number in the 'Read more about Us' http://www.glencara.com/customer-service/about-glencara.html section. That number is completely illegitimate as there is no such code as 1866 among premium numbers in Ireland, and all premium numbers are followed by six digits, not seven.

Anyway, although they guarantee 2-3 day Irish delivery with dispatch within 24hrs, they dispatched my order 3 days later, which took 12 days to arrive. Prior to dispatching my order, they emailed asking to confirm the size, and still posted a ring three sizes too small. It's worth mentioning that their emails are signed by innitials only and no names are available.

When my card was charged in US dollars, which has never happened to me before ordering from any Irish online company, and he ring was posted from Guernsey in Channel Islands which is a part of United Kingdom.

It is my firm belief that the website is designed to intentionally mislead potential customers to lead them to believe it is a genuine Irish organisation. It is not. Don't fall for this scam.

Second that

Yes I live in Galway Ireland, and I stupidly got caught out by this elaborate scam too. It was only after that I did research online and saw the many many people that have been scammed all over the world. This is a seriously well set up hoax. I see a returns address in Ballybane Galway near where I live and I'm going to spin in there to have a look to confirm my suspicions. They play heavily on the small run Irish family business angle but when I asked them on their chatbot where they are located in Galway they say they can't reveal their location for security reasons. I have reported themn to the CCPC. I cannot understand how this scam has not been shut down yet!

Ordered wedding bands and was sent the wrong sizes. Returned for new, properly sized rings, as suggested by the website and emails.

After many emails, over a period of several weeks, none were personally answered, just canned, automated resposnes, we are still waiting for the return of our rings.

They said allow 4 to 7 weeks from the time I returned them until I received the replacement rings.

I mailed the rings on February 17, 2015. It is now April 9, 2015, and still no rings, no answer (recorded message at the US number) on the phone, no staisfaction from emails.

They have not confirmed reciept of the rings, or shipment of the rings

The company website says free shipping within 1 day of order. I never received a confirmation e-mail saying they received my order. I called and e-mailed the company several times and no response back. They took the money via Paypal out of my account and I never received anything. Now I have to figure out how to get the money back.

I ordered a ring from Glencara on 11-16-2014 for a Christmas present, which I paid for at the time of purchase. I never received the ring.

I tried to call the number they have listed for customer service. I called Ireland time, but every time you call it states that you must call Ireland time and you never get to talk to anyone.

I have emailed their company several times. I have received a couple of replays from them, but they never address your problem. They did tell me one time they would remail the ring on December 8, 2014 if I signed something from the post office stating I did not receive the ring. I agreed, but never received it to sign. Then I emailed them again asking how they even stay in business, but I'm really not sure this business even exists. The last email I received said they were remailing the ring, but I Still have not received it.

I really think the company is just taking your money and pretending to be a company.

There probably is no customer service either. Just a recorded message.

I contacted this company through their contact form online Friday 12/12 to order a ring and asked for someone to call me because I had some questions about the claddagh ring I wanted to order. i had no problem getting a call back to place the order. they had no problem charging my card right away and charging me for FedEx shipping, the ring, and gift wrapping. Well the guy I talked to guaranteed my ring to me by Wednesday 12-17-14, but nothing. I've tried to reach them through numerous amount of emails since Wednesday, no response. you can't call the number they have listed because they say they're only taking emails when you do call it. for awhile it would say call during certain hours for Ireland time, but you never could reach antibody just a message always saying to call back, then they changed the message to they're only taking emails. Well they changed their email address a couple of times. Then they say put urgent in the subject line to get a response within 24 hours. All a lie, bunch of bull. Nobody ever calls you, emails back, nothing. I've even filled out a new contact form lying to say I was someone else acting like I wanted to place an order, but they don't respond I've been so desperate to find out what happened because I'm on social security, and it was the only money I had to buy my daughter a gift. I never shop online, but my daughter has been wanting a claddagh ring, and since I really didn't place the order directly on line and was able to speak to someone, I thought it was leggett. It's all a scam don't order from them. You can kiss your money goodbye. I wish I saw this Glencara ripoff Google search before I ordered. I see I'm not the only one dealing with this. Google why are you keeping these people in your search engine? Especially the first place that pops up for claddagh rings. Any suggestions from anyone on what to do to shut this down so they can't scam anymore people would be greatly appreciated.

My fiancee and I ordered $491 of jewelry from Glencara and paid to have it arrive by Christmas. We ordered two claddagh rings as a symbol of our love and friendship, and a promise to be wed. The first ring didn't arrive until early February, with the other arriving 2 weeks after that!! My fiancee's ring was much more expensive than mine, and about $420 of the order by itself. Claddagh ring with diamonds and an emerald.

When our rings arrived we inspected both of them. Both bands were considerably smaller than specified on the website. The craftsmanship was also poor, with the hands melting into the heart and other obvious faults. I indicated this in one of my emails. I received no response to any of my emails, but I did notice they soon after changed the site to offer sizes of the jewelry much more vaguely, possibly due to my complaint.

My fiancee wore her ring, and in less than one hour, one of the diamonda fell out of it's setting. That was the final straw. I began a campaign to reach them to rectify my situation. I spent the next month calling and emailing, never receiving an answer. I turned to my bank, who told me I had to let them go through their returns process first before they can do anything. I returned the jewelry via the only address listed on their site, in Ireland, which cost me another $111.

To my furious dismay, I finally receive an "automated" email response, which says they'll respond within 36 hours. The automated has to be fake, because I received only one, in spite of emailing before and after. I didn't receive a response ever, let alone 36 hours. I say furious dismay because the email, not the website, lists a US returns address in Ney York, which is probably also fake but would have been much cheaper.

I tracked the jewelry until arrival. Another two weeks passed. I started to send emails threatening to report them to the Department of Commerce and Ireland's department as well. No response. I turned back to my Bank, who then tells me it's outside of the 90 day period now where they can get my money back. Needless to say, I changed banks...

It's now six and a half months since I ordered from Glencara. They have my money. They have my jewelry. I have nothing, but $600 out of my pocket that could have been used elsewhere. We also don't have promise rings, and we're too afraid to order any online ever again.

BUYER BEWARE!! This business is fraudulent. They are nothing but petty internet crooks and you can expect to be robbed, even if you receive your merchandise. The craftsmanship will prompt you to return it, and it's likely they are sending it to somebody else to pull the same stunt.
