Global Efficient Energy Reviews

Worst financial decision EVER

only put a 1 because I''m not allowed to put a zero. This nightmare has been ongoing since installation in November of 2014. I purchased 5 solar panels with the guarantee that I would save 40% on my energy bills. I had numerous problems with the installation followed by problems when submitting my monthly energy bills to them to document my costs. Having complained for months about not getting the guaranteed savings (with many months having higher electricity bills than the previous year), I FINALLY was contacted by then consumer affairs manager, Lee Fuller. He agreed that they would install 10 more panels before the end of 2015 and that would guarantee the promised 40% savings. They were approved by our HOA but when the installer came out, he said it would take up the whole side of the roof and not what the HOA had approved. They then were supposed to talk with us about re-configuring the 10 panels on the roof.

In the interim, Lee Fuller left their company. I then spoke with Ernesto Alamos who asked what I wanted as a resolution. I told him the 10 panels agreed to by Mr. Fuller and my 40% reimbursement from what I hadn''t saved, per their guarantee. I was then contacted by Joe Soward who supposedly is handling the cases where there are problems such as ours. He took a lot of ridiculous info about our light bulbs, whether we unplug phone chargers and other energy information which hasn''t changed since the day we purchased the solar panels. Supposedly he was discussing with his board how to fix my problem. He finally called back about 2 weeks later, (Feb 16) to say he was still talking to exec board about the problem BUT stated that the 10 additional panels WOULD NOT fix the problem. He asked to set up a settlement conference on Feb 19 after having a chance to talk to his board again. On the 19th, yet again,he had no additional info, said he hadn''t taken good notes on our last call and said he needed to talk to his board and would call back on Feb 25th. My wife and I instructed him that was not acceptable as it had gone on long enough with no resolution. We told him that since he stated that the 10 additional panels still wouldn''t guarantee the 40% savings anyway, we didn''t want their windows, doors, energy savings tips or any of their other products to try to get to the 40% savings as we had contracted them to save us 40% with solar panels. We informed him that we just want them to take the useless panels off our house, repair our roof back to ''pre solar panel condition'' and return our money. He called back and mentioned wanting to make us a deal for the panels we have on our house at a discounted price. I told him I didn''t want the panels at any price as they obviously aren''t saving us money but that he could send the offer if he wanted to. I haven''t heard from him since. And the nightmare continues....

Joe Skaff contacted me representing himself as an agent of the local power company, and offered to do a 'free energy efficieny audit' of my home. They used to do this a long time ago and it was not a scam, so I believed him.... little did I know! He came to my house and his question to me was, 'what do I think I need for home next?' ... of course my answer did not match his scam pitch...

He eluded to how my home needed solar paneling which ended up being $16k PLUS 13% APR - wow! I'm 63 years old and already pay around $300 a month for energy, of course I could stand to pay another $200/month for the next 5 years.. so this ends up being around $26k when all said and done.

Is this saving me from my energy bill? Obviously NOT, its adding to it!

He stayed at my home for 5 HOURS, I could not get him to leave and he would not take NO for an answer.. he had done the same thing to a neighbor of mine previously and she actually signed but later cancelled.

She had the worst time trying to get him to cancel the contract, she had to call him several times and let him know - mad, he slammed the phone in her face and cursed out her daughter who called him to make sure he had cancelled. He had left no contact information for the obscure bank he had her signed on with, which anyone who knows banking will know, is against the law.

How convenient for him.. no way for her to cancel the loan.. this guy is scum of the earth, preying on seniors..
