Biggest mistake!

I'm so upset for not looking into this sooner!!! I just confirmed my flight a few hours ago! Has anyone had any luck getting their money back after confirming the flight? Or filing any formal complaints against this scam?

Company claimed to be a reputable business in traveling. We were to pay a refundable deposit of $100.00 for a trip. They work in conjunction with Travel Advantage Network. They both are a rip off. I called on June 2, 2015 to cancel trip, after reading some unfortunate reviews (should have done this earlier, right). I was told that I would receive a refund in the name of the travel holder, not me, my husband, which was fine. It is now June 26th and no check has shown. They claimed the check was mailed and cashed. I asked for proof of the withdrawn check on June 26th. I know that is sailing the seas just like the refund check.

I don't like cheaters, and immoral people who pray on hardworking individuals. I would like to get my money back but if I don't I pray that they don't make a profit ever in life again.

Sundance Vacations, 4 day and 3 nights

Trying to find out what hotels are being offered in Cancun, Mexico; Montego Bay, Jamaica and San Juan, Puerto Rico. Are they beach front or in the hills where additional transportation will be required. Also how to secure transfers from airport to hotel. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Wow .. Thanks Ya'll

Sundance Vacations. Went to the presentation for the 4 days and 3 nights in Montego Bay, Jamaica (never been. I've been to Cancun and San Juan, the other two options offered). After 5 minutes into the one-on-one hard sell, I was firm on the "No, doesn't work for me. I will never travel to the US cities you offer. I prefer Caribbean and international travel. I don't drive to vacation. I fly." I was being honest. They backed off and knew they couldn't hoodwink me. Just logged on to register the certificate. This website popped up right under gocrv. Sorry you got scammed. Appreciate you communicating your experience so the rest of us won't. The majority of comments are negative. Only a few positive (80%, 20% rule). I hope and pray that sharing your experience will send the karma wheel back around and you get a gift/blessing out of helping countless others. Long story short. I ain't givin them a friggin penny.

We attended a time share meeting at the Hilton Garden Inn in West Knoxville on Feb. 7 2015. We forget the time share Reps. name but we were offered a free 2 night stay at the Wilderness of the Smokies and waterpark in Sevierville,T.N. by Gocrv. They wanted us to send 100 dollars to them but found out on the web that they are scam artists. Thankfully we did not send them a dime. I think the Hotel that these were offered needs to know about these people. They are scamming many people and it is wrong.

Doubt I will receive the $40 gas amount either

I did apply for the $40 gas card. Actually not a gas card, paying it in $10 payments after you buy the gas, etc. I am not going to bother with the cruise, air fares, etc. sound like they want money up front and you cannot get the time you want.

The started talking about $199.00 a year but at the end they wanted $10,000 and would take off $2000 if you were a vet, nurse, etc. I got thinking in reality I would not be taking all these trips, I have a summer job, etc. also I am 72 years old, how many more years will I will traveling around the world?? These people are scammers, they start off with a nice young man and when you refuse to sign up, they bring in the big guns to try to talk you into it. I walked out on them, my friend stayed, but did not buy.

Is is really a scam?

We went to a 90 minute sales presentation for Family Connections a/k/a/ Global Discovery Vacations. They presented to us that they were NOT a "Timeshare". They use a "star" system to earn weeks. Anyway, we decided not to go ahead and purchase this expensive vacation package.

They offered us a 4,5,6, or 7 night cruise with airfare on Royal Carribean or Norwegian cruise line. I followed the directions of the certificate they gave us and I do understand that you have to pay $198 within a certain amount of time. Then its all a waiting game. I haven't yet sent in my depost....especially after seeing some reviews.

Did anyone purchase this vacation package? How did it go? Since it includes 2 adults and inside room only, I know I need to upgrade to a better room and pay for my children. So, I do understand that's extra along with taxes and port fees. If you really read the fine print then there should be no hidden surprises.

Need advice.....
