Lynda lake will tell you anything she thinks you want to her: oh yes this the perfect horse for you, ranch horse can do anything and just the horse you need. We travelled 3+ hrs to see the horse and shed sold it. BUT she had even a better horse for us to check out. While waiting around for them to prepare this other horse, I saw the horse I wanted. When we went there, she wasn't home and this guy who acted like he was stoned rode the horse around. I was horrified because this horse was in such pain, his rt frt hoof was split, had grass in it. I walked into the arena where this *** was riding him and told him to get off the horse and not let anyone ride him until his feet were cared for and he was shod. The next week this horse,, Paddy had disappeared with no explanation. Instead the buyer of the first horse she chose for us, just as misteriously reappeared. she said was a paint/quarter horse mix. not. But I liked him. She said she would polished his reigning skills and would demonstrate how to ride him upon delivery. all part of the agreement. We paid her in full (very spendy for a horse with no papers and not thoroughly trained. She was going to deliver him around 11:00 AM on a Friday. We had invited them to be our guests for dinner and in our guest room. At eleven she wasn't there and hadn't called. I had to call her about the delay. Linda always has a catastrophe that's not her fault. This one I suspect was a hangover. And she's one who believes it's always easier to be forgiven than ask for permission. They finally arrived around 4:00, which means we waited 5 hrs at our stable. We had words about how she makes a lot of promises she can't/doesn't keep. She blew up, shouting and screaming. They yanked the horse off the trailer took off his halter before we had time to replace it, and sped away. With Linda its always something, she takes responsibility for nothing...just random catastrophes that happen to her. She dumped the horse and drove away. She can't help who she is, but I won't have to deal with her ever again...and I suggest you be wary as well.
