I have spent a fortune marketing 2 properties on this site for a lengthy period of time. After scruinizing this site, its traders, their specific patterns and all their correspondence for the past 60 days I have noticed a very disturbing trend. Every once in a while you will notice a small ticket item ie....r.v. or cheap land successfully trade. But the largest percentage (I would say in the 98% range would be fairly accurate) one can easily notice the experienced traders dominating this site with high dollar trade enterprise. All the traders that are well versed in this type of trade, carry the highest dollar ticket items or the straight up wealthy control the trends here in trading. If you are an average trader hit by the economy looking to sell or trade your item whether property, land or home you don't stand much of a chance unless of course you are willing to practically give it away. They claim this site is a progressive way to trade during a depressed selling market....whether for land homes or other assets but I will maintain that unless you are wealthy and have several options available to you to barter, are a part of this monopoly of experienced GoSwap trader pool or have the assets to convert and trade for another such as a sailboat, r.v or airplane this site is joke. Don't waste your hard earned money trying to sell, barter or trade your land or home here....like I said unless you belong to the elite ""boys club"" your listing will get no play. Every once in a while a successful trade will take place where the value of the home or land is geared toward the middle class or lower middle class income level, but statistcially it's more rare than this site will care to admit. If you want to sell or trade your R.V, well this may be the site for you, these go quickly as does some aircraft and some very cheap parcels of land. My argument will remain that a MAJORITY of the sales are geared toward the wealthy and experienced Go Swap trader. Oh by the way most of the customers that I have run across in the middle class grouping that didn't fall into the categories above have since let their listings expire and have not had enough faith in this site to renew their membership. Gee, I wonder why??
I have contacted several who show active on this site who are actually no longer active, it just claims they are. Several haven't had their listing active for months or even a year. But this site claims they are still active yet they are no longer able to retrieve any messages from this site. Some are forced to pay on a pay per lead of $6.99 and they don't want to do this since their listing was not successfully market here. Their listings never got the attention they paid for, therefore they are doing something different outside of GoSwap. Trust me this is a very exclusive network here. If you aren't wealthy, have a lot of assets to convert , experienced and known within this GoSwap pool or willing to practically give your assets away then you probably won't do well on this site. Although, as I said-some rare cases exist where an average Joe traded his/her home or land and may have actually accomplished what they set out to do, but I guarantee you, it doesn't happen often in comparison to the high ticket items being bartered. I would bet the statistics would be grossly skewed if we knew the numbers. What a joke this site is!
