The Great fun site should be banshid and not allowed to rip off people. I have tried numerous times to cancel and they just give me the run around. Something should be done to be able to cancel any time. Thank you.

I received a bill today for services I have never heard of. I have an ongoing claim against another compqny for 429.00 They took out of my accou t without my knowledge. I will file a claim tomorrow for this one also. This company has been taking out 16.99 for months and I had no idea. It is not authorized and I will fight it. I had to cancel my direct deposit card because there were so many fraudulent charges

I purchased two even tickets off of Tickmaster. At the end of the order, Ticketmaster prompted for a rebate opportunity. I accepted the offer including signing up for a greatfun trial.

I followed the instructions and mailled the rebate information to Ticketmaster. I did not receive any updates, so I emailed the company. A representative said that my rebate was in the mail. A few days later I got a physical letter saying my rebate can not be processed from a lack of information. I contacted Greatfun and they said I need to provide a receipt. I emailed them back and said I did provide the information when i mailed the rebate info and then included the purchase order in the email.

In the next few weeks I sent a few follow up emails requesting a update on the rebate status, which each email was ignored. I ended up calling Great Fun and got a holf of a customer service rep. The rep ended up getting a attitude, telling me I was not understanding what she was saying. I told the rep I was understanding and she was the one that was not understanding. I informed the rep I did not receive a physical receipt, since the purchase was done online for tickets. I informed the rep I included the purchase order via the physical mail I sent. The rep argued that their notes said I had to resend the receipt. I mentioned I tried to send the invoice again through email and would like to email the information rather than sending another physical mail. The rep argued they did not have a email address (eventhough I was getting emailed from it and it is listed on their website for support: [email protected]). The conversation kept going in loops, when I finaly requested the $2 refund for the Greatfun Trial on my credit card.

I will need to wait and see if I get credited the $2 back correctly.

I received a letter telling me I had won a Lottery and to call a 800#!! I did it without thinking it could be a SCAM. First I was offered magazines--I ordered 2. Then I get a letter in the mail telling me I had ordered 12 magazines. I called the 800# on the letter and told them to cancel All of them and to Not take any money from my Acct. and that I was calling my Credit Union to inform them that I was not authorising the transaction.

I thought that was the end of it, then on May 21, 2015 I get this whole Packet from GREAT FUN. They are telling me they will be taking $1.00 out of my Acct. that month and then $16.99 a month after that.

I went to the web site in the info included in the packet to where it said I could cancel. I put all the information they asked for and when I got to the end I find out they are going to CHARGE ME $35.00 to cancel !!

I paid it because I didn't want them to take anymore money out of my Acct.

Beware of rebate after you buy tickets from ticket master . they will try to sign you up for this Great Fun what ever it is and offer you a rebate of 60 dollars and you give them a credit card or debit card number and they will try to take money out of your account if you dont cancel . Usually dont fall for this stuff.

It is a complete scam. The clue is if money is involved its usually a scam.Ticket master should not be associated with this.I knew after I did it there was something wrong with that picture.

This company promises rebates on items purchased. They charge a person a monthly fee on your credit card and if you do not cancel the fee gets bigger. They never give the rebate even though they say the cheque is in the mail. Talk to them they are nicer than nice promising everything, completing nothing. DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS INTERNET SCAM COMPANY. BIG LYING CROOKS.

I too have been misled (scammed?) by Trileglant Corp., DBA Great Fun and Shopper's Advantage. I rented a car from Dollar and clicked on a pop-up window that offered a $50 rebate for joinging Great Fun. Stupidly (I now realize) I clicked on the offer. When I read the terms I was informed I could join for $1.00 during a 30 day trial period, then afterwards I would be charged $16.99/month, and I could cancel at any time.

So, what has happened is they signed me up for TWO rebate clubs, Great Fun and Shopper's Advantage, and BOTH charged me $16.99/month after the trial period. I was not told about the 2nd rebate club when I accepted the online offer.

Soon after I received a package from Shopper's Advantage with my "$20 rebate" offer from them. Well, the "$20 rebate" requires that you buy some gasoline, mail in a rebate coupon, and wait 4-5 weeks for a $5 rebate check. You get 4 coupons each of which is only useable within a 3 month period from now through Dec. 31st (one had all ready expired by the time I received it). Meanwhile, I must maintain my membership at $16.99/month. Because it takes 4-5 weeks for processing I estimate I would have to maintain my membership for about 10 months, i.e., pay $169.90 in membership dues, to receive my $20 in rebates.

When I saw that I phoned Great Fun to cancel my membership. She asked if I had received my $100 rebate offer, and I had not. She explained that to use my $100 rebate I had to maintain my membership, so why don't I just wait for the rebate offer to arrive, and then decide if I want to cancel. So, again stupidly, I did not press for canceling my membership.

Well, now the "$100 rebate" offer has arrived from Great Fun. Guess what -- it's nearly the same deal! There are four $25 rebate coupons. Each is valid only during a 3 month time period, the last one ending on 05/28/15. And, of course when I send in my rebate coupon along with required purchace receipts, I must wait 6-8 weeks for processing -- while maintianing my membership, of course! So, this "$100 rebate" deal would only cost me about $16.99/month x 14 months = $237 to get my $100 in rebates!

I plan to call both reabte clubs on Monday to cancel my membership. I have already been charged a $16.99 monthly fee from both clubs. I have read elsewhere that this company tries to fool people into thinking they have canceled both memberships when, in fact, they only cancel one. And, I have read that this company may continue to charge my credit card even after I have cancelled. I have also sent a request to my credit card company summarizing my concern about Great Fun and Shopper's Advantage, and I asked them if there is a way to block a vendor from charging my card.

I'll file a follow-up report here after I attempt to cancel my 2 memberships next week and after I hear back from my credit card company.

Bought airline tickets through Cheap O air and was offered a rebate of 50 dollars and all I had to do was a free trial membership with great fun. This was in February and it is now April and I have not received anything from them. I was told the first time I called to cancel that it was in the mail and they extended my membership for free for another 2 weeks. Called again Friday to cancel and was told that I would receive an email the next day for me to print off and send in with my reciept from the airlines and my membership was extended fro another month for free. I guess I will never see this rebate.

I ordeered tickets through Ticketmaster that included an incentive for a $50 cash rebate from Great Fun. After a couple months I phoned and asked for the refund and told them to not charge my ""account"" until I received the $50. Another mongh passed and I phoned again. This time they sent a $25 check about 2 weeks later. Since then, I've made 3 more calls and to date, no more checks and no reversal of the credit card charges.

We're now at about 6 months. Today a supervisor assured my that I would receive the second $25 check as well as membership cancellation and the credit card reversals within 7-10 business days. Stay tuned.
