I was looking to purchase prime or wagyu type beef and I searched online till I saw this Greg Norman Wagyu so I bought it. When it arrived I noticed that it was ( at least ) 4 MONTHS old. I may be mistaken it may have been 6 months but I threw all of it in the garbage and am working on memory.
The meat was frozen and marked when it was frozen but there was also another date. I was totally disgusted. My Wife said let's cook it up and see which I complied with. She grilled it and while there was a considerable amount of what appeared to be fat, which would be a good thing if you want a good steak, this was kind of strange, fat but maybe not fat? Is it plastic?
It may as well have been because it smelled like a dead carcass laying out in the sun for days. I would not feed the feral animals this meat and in the garbage it went. I filed a claim with amex and got a refund. At NO TIME did this "Greg Norman" company even make the slightest effort in making it right. Not an apology, nothing.
I would quit beef altogether if this was the only place on earth to buy beef.
