Another bad experience with service department. On the board I did see the sign for maintenance. My wife went to change the oil (she was thinking that the oil change is due). When she got there they quote her $219. My wife called me and she let me speak with Carlos the service man. He was trying to sell to us services for $219 (not necessary services). I ask them what oil was used before. Right the way I remembered that last time they advised us to use the best oil that they had and they explained to us at that time that we have to changed oil every 10K miles. They did not tell my wife that the oil change was not due yet ( even the board indicator was ON). They wanted to change it again even if it was not necessary and trying to add more service for $219. I refused to accept that service that was not necessarily. When Carlos was confronted with this he acknowledge that the oil change is not due yet. I asked them to reset the board indicator so in 5k will remind me to come back for oil change. They refuse to do it. I asked for the manager and Allen talked with me and he was trying to convince me to spend more money with unnecessary services. He did not listen to my request. He was continuing to tell me that only if I do extra work He will be able to reset the light on the board for me.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYBODY.THEY WILL REP YOU OFF. ALLEN SHOULD NOT WORK FOR THIS COMPANY. PLEASE FIND ANOTHER PLACE TO SERVICE YOUR CAR.
