Harriet Lembeck - Bamberger Lawsuit Cites Leckeck Wine Book As Worst Ever Written Reviews

  • Oct 13, 2014

I received a press release about a multi-million dollar lawsuit brought by New York City attorney David Bamberger which cites New York wine writer Harriet Lembeck as having written the worst wine book ever written.

The Complaint in the lawsuit contains the following:

“We wrote to you several days ago saying that 'Harriet Lembeck's Guide To Deciphering A Wine Label' will be one of the most extraordinary books ever published on the subject of wine. It will be one ofthe most extraordinary in that it is the worst book ever written about wine but as we will explain below it is well worth your advertising your wines in it as it will become an Internet sensation selling lots of copies...

"Harriet was commissioned to write this book three years ago by the publisher of a series of 'how to' books. After numerous delays and excuses she finally delivered her manuscript .. , The manuscript is totally inadequate and confusing...

"After being given a chance to revise her book, she barely started when her deadline passed and the series publisher got fed up and sold her contract to us [P&P]."

"We gave her a chance to revise her manuscript and she ignored our request so we decided to publish her book as submitted as 'the worst wine book ever written' as a ninety nine cent e-book believing it will become an Internet sensation and go viral capitalizing on the fact that it is written by the foremost wine educator in America”

Amazing!!!
