I ordered a sample for free trial of L-envi cream and paid for $4.95 for shipping & handling. They charged me $95.00 14 days after. I cancelled immediately. They sent a confirmation email stating " ... any ongoing or all future charges have been cancelled as per your request". I thoght I had cancelled my ordering but they charged me $95.00 stating that was my payment for the free trial.

They refused to get a refund to me because they stated that there was a phone recording note of your cancellation placed on via their automated system. – “This customer accepted an Ongoing Clean Cancel offer for this order that was presented by IVR. Under the terms of this agreement, the customer will keep the most recently received order, and no refunds will be issued. All future orders to this customer will be discontinued.”

I ordered L-envi face cream from a website I trust and have been their custom for 6 years. Therefore, I did not made any search about Hartford Scientific. This is totally a scam. Hartford Scientific is ruining other companies' reputation as well.

Scam scam scam

Same situation as others. I ordered a sample for free trial of L-envi cream and paid for $4.95 for shipping & handling. Since I read their scam stories, I cancelled my order on the same day as they shipped it out. They still charged me $28 and refuse to give a refund to me because they stated that there was a phone recording note of your cancellation placed on via their automated system. I pressed 1 instead of 0 which means I agree to be charged $28.

This is totally a scam. Hartford Scientific is ruining other companies' reputation as well.

The scam by Hartford Scientific

I ordered LEnvi products off of web because Dr. Oz and the add stated the products contained Vitamin C and Hyuralic Acid. When products arrived, no paperwork was with order, plus, more importantly, neither of the referenced ingredients were listed on the container of the LEnvi product. What a disappointment. In reviewing information to return the items, I realized this company and products were a total scam. A company named CHB*Benvi Trial has charged my credit card. I am seeking information and suggestions how to get a refund. I have found a customer service phone number (855-958-0288) that said they would cancel any future automatic re-purchases. I intend to work with my bank to seek a $94.99 refund.

First of all I tried to get them not to send face cream. Three different men called me in threaten tones saying I needed the cream and wouldn't hang up. They sent the cream anyway. Now I have found 4 or 5 charges on my credit card. After each charge I called them to not send anymore and to take it off my credit card. One said they couldn't and the other said they would, nothing was done. Need help to stop the cream from coming to me. I could do a better job for a face cream using Crisco.

Scam

I am another customer scammed by the Hartford Scientific Company. I took advantage of a free offer for L'Envi cream paying only for the shipping. I read all the fine print to make sure I was not committing to monthly shipments and found no such agreements. About one month later, I received another two creams with no information or billing in the packaging. I called the company to inquire about returning the products + obtaining a refund. The customer representative stated that the products were mine, unable to be returned + this was part of the free offer. After complaining + insisting on a refund, the representative ( Shin)

hung up on me. How can this company get away with the dishonesty, the fraud, + the scamming.

I saw an advertisement for a free trial of wrinkle cream for $4.95 to cover shipping and thought i would give it a try. I received the trial and opened and tried. I got a rash on my face. A few days later, i got another bottle of this cream in the mail wondering why so tried to contact the company to find out what was going on. I then noticed on my bank statement that i had been charged $94.99 for each bottle. So called the company to cancel the order as this product is imcompatable with my skin.

I since have called to get a rma# to return and get a refund for the product as the web site says. So now i have two unopened packages and called again. Was able to speak to someone who is very hard to understand and they offered me a 15% refund, when i said no i would like a full refund was offered 35% refund, again said no and then offered the best he could of 50%. The gentleman gave a confirmation # and jung up. I have tried to cancel this 3 times now and get a refund. My patiance is gone and will seak legal council.

I sent away for a samle of L'Envi which is for reducing fine lines around the eyes. Now I am getting the product montlhly. No receipt or telephone number come with packaging. It is, therefore, hard to return without any account number. I would like these items to stop coming. What can I do other than send them a certified letter?

I was offered a "free" gift after completing an online survey, needed to pay only for shipping, $5. Talked to a "representative" and was assured that its only one time transaction. Than, three months later, I found out that my card was charged $95 every month!

They wont refund because "you agreed to our terms and conditions", which I never did. Every attempt to communicate is getting you in touch with "real" person from Pakistan or India, who has no idea, and just repeat everything all over again.

I don't know how many more people those guys ripped off, but I think this is pretty bad.

I ordered a free sample using my credit card for shipping cost. I have been receiving monthly shipments of product without approval. My credit card has been charged 99.00 each time.

I ordered a 'sample' of a face moisturizer which was supposed to be a free trial for the shipping fee of $4.95. Now, I have just realized that I have been charged for 2 bottles of the product $94.99 each. This information was not on the advertisement that I got it from. I called the company and they will not refund my money even though I have both bottles that remain sealed. So now I'm out $189.98.

I ordered a free sample of their L'Enui face moisturizing cream as advertised on TV 2 months ago. After trying the product for7 days I developed a rash causing itcjness and uncomfortable feeling. So I called them with my input, telling the gentleman with whom I conversed not to send me any more cream. I discarded the jar at the same time I discarded their paperwork. On April 25, 2015, I received another jar of cream that I have not ordered. I have not received my VISA billing ending April 30, 2015. If they have charged me with $80 plus S/H, I will have VISA Intelligence Department to void the unpermitted charge and also to conduct a fraud investigation against Hartford Scinetific.

Clicked pop-up window online to order a face cream for 4.95. Provided address & bank card info. No confirmation received. No terms of agreement shown. No website shown. No refund policy shown. No statement about automatic monthly charge to be made after that first order. Will not refund charges. Claims about terms of agreement, website info provided all lies. Like other customers, I didn't get the link to this information after I called to complain and demand reimbursement. they stole $376.96 before I discovered the fraud. I've cancelled the card to prevent further theft but I have no way of getting the $379.96 back.

Con artist

A very shady way of doing business. My wife had her account auto-debited for several hundred dollars after her "trial bottle". Please read the small print and better yet, save your money and don't order from this company. We will be contacting the attorney generals office to lodge a complaint.

I seem to be in the same situation as previous reports, online solicitation with celebrity endorsement as well as "satisified customer" endorsements. As a side note, product did not even begin to show promise in the first month of use.

Next thing you receive unauthorited refills of both products for upwards of $95 each. Attempted to return products via certified return receipt and delivery was refused. My credit card company Chase was wonderful as they worked with me to rectify this problem.

I found these anti-wrinkle producta advertised on the internet, connected to the Dr, Oz show and they were advertised as free, and I would only have to pay shipping charges for the two items I received, but after calling my bank discovered they charged my acccount almost 200,00 for the products,. At present my bank is investigating this fraud.
