I called Harvest Moon Loans in a time of need and I borrowed 100 dollars and all they been doing is taking the interest and when I try to reach them to pay them off i get no answer . Don't do business with this people they are a big rip off and only playing with peoples money that are actually in need.

I am a resident in the State of Florida, Harvest Moon Loans provided me with two loans which is against the law. They are VERY misleading and a rip off. They were suppose to ONLY take a one time processing fee out of my bank account and then the rest was towards the loans. My first loan was $150 I've paid over $700 on this loan and the second loan was for $100 I've paid over $500 on this one. The state of Florida state "Only one (1) payday loan at a time and if the loan is not paid between 7-31 days it should be sent to collections. Harvest Moon Loans say that they are a tribal loan and dont follow state or federal laws. I'm a single parent with a daughter in college and this loan has caused many hard ships.

Working with Harvest Moon was the worst financial experience in my life to date...... I was granted a 100 dollar loan from those people and the financial fee was a mere 46.68 which I was fine with....... I know I asked for no roll over in the account and very specifically stated that I wanted to do a payout on the upcoming pay date..... They chose to roll the loan over without my permission TWICE! I confronted them and they basically called me a liar. I asked what the final buy out was considering they had already taken 2 payments equalling to $92.76.... Do I was under the impression that the remaining balance would be all that was owed. Nope! Tricked me..... The full $146.68 was what the lady told me after being on the phone in between holds and incompetent people for 36 minutes. I told her that I couldn't believe how they did "business" and that they are crooks (bother truths) and how disappointed I was in their company for taking advantage of folks in a bind. I will absolutely never recommend them nor will I deal with them.

I took out a loan from harvest moon for 200 dollars the lady told me i can pay 92.16 instead of paying my whole loan of 292.16 ,92.16 was taken from my account then on my next pay period another 92.56 came out my account i went to the website to see how much i owed and it was telling me i still owed 292.56 .I wondered how that was possible when i had already paid these people twice. I called to see what was going on and the lady told me i was only making intrest payments.None of the money i had been get tooken from my acount had been going towards my loan so i still owed them 292 +the 92.16 and the 92.56 ,this company is a rip off dont ever get a loan from them

If you get a loan offer from Harvest Moon Loans, read the documents you are sent very, very carefully before you speak with their representative or accept the loan offer.

Fortunately I read the loan documents before letting my son accept their offer. Harvest Moon may be a Native American lending service but they must comply with the laws of the state where the borrower is located. Virginia only allows a maximum of 39.5% APR on a pay day or any unsecured installment loan. Harvest Moon's interest rate stated in their loan documents was 1002.9% per annum.

However, we are concerned that they now have our bank information after seeing reports about predatory practices in the short-term loan industry as a whole. This is not a comment on Harvest Moon's practices, only on the industry itself.

NOTE: The representative who called us was very polite and encouraged us to review the loan documents carefully before engaging in a discussion of the loan with her. I give her high marks for that.

Based on violating Virginia's laws regarding interest any lender authorized to do business in the state can charge, refused the loan offer. Will be reporting them to the appropriate Department in Richmond as well as other appropriate agencies for compliance investigation. If Harvest Moon is able to bring their loan products into compliance with the laws governing such transactions in the states where they are licensed to issue loans, they have potential to be a good source for short term loans."
