Man I just received this thing in the mail that says I have a "FREE bahamas cruise for two" from Holiday Cruise Line. Well as my husband always told me --Nothing in this world is free-- So I googled it and found this website. I read other people's reports on this and was convinvinced that my husband and everyone else who received this letter had the same answer...Scam! I'm sure some people fall for it and I feel sorry for those who do. Just because you see the capitalized word "FREE" doesnt mean its real. I learned to see it as "FAKE" because thats exactly what it is. So train your eyes to see the word FREE as FAKE and save yourself a headache with these people who are experts in eating your brains with their so called offers. I'm going to upload a picture of what it looks like so when you get this in the mail give it to your dog so he can tear it up in bits. Make sure you post a report on it before you do that. The more reports we get, the more people are saved from scam. --I hate scamers!-- Hey you might even be able to make a cute YouTube video of your dog tearing up the mail....... I think its funny.........what.........dont judge me!

ALMOST ANOTHER VICTIM

I received the same offer and called to make reservations but my credit card did not go through. So I decided before I call back to look them up. Thank you to everyone who posted their bad experiences with these scam artists. I spoke with a person name Nathan and I will plan to call him back with so choice words. It may not stop the scam but he will remember me.

Ugh!

So I got the legit boarding pass with confirmation number and everything. It said to call a number to confirm and I did which he had my name and address on it. He said that there were cabins that weren't being used and that the company sent out free rooms around three thousand. When I was talking to him he kept asking me if I was excited. When he asked me for the money I said my mother had my card...there was a moment of silence then he said he would transfer me to another caller. Before the phone hung up he said in a irritated and angry voice, 'she didn't have the money.' DON'T BE FOOLED!!!

SCAM!!!

I just got a text for a FREE Cruise for two to the Bahamas so I called to see what this foolishness was all about. Of course tried to sell me on all the "VIP" packages they have and that I have 18 months to take the trip but all I would have to do is pay 118.00...I told them they would NOT get my card info w/o me getting all this in writing. I work for a major card company so I see people get ripped off every day. When I told the man I was not giving out my info for security reasons the second time he asked he started acting like a desperate pushy sales rep so I said thank you for the offer but no and hung up. Please DO NOT give ur card number or ANY other personal info to companies like this it is a scam. If you did give them your info call your credit card company and request a dispute so you can try to get a refund. The only thing is a dispute case does not always guarantee you will get your money back because this is not fraud you willingly gave out your card number. Also just calling your credit card company to request a new number does not guarantee they won't charge your new number. Bc everything from the old number comes onto the new card number so they may still be able to charge you. Now if you used a bank card you can also do a dispute the process may be a little longer but I would still call your bank and find out. Hope this helps

My grandmother fell victim to holiday cruise line when they called her and I was oblivious to the fact that she was getting a cruise. She was gullible and believed the operator, who just happen to be Middle Eastern accented, and had already given over her card information and everything before she is and let me know that she was getting a cruise. Started out with $1800 dollars and then they started adding more and more to it. Probably too late to try and get our money back to try. 99 percent sure this cruise is a fake it's not to be trusted!

What have I gotten myself into????

Had the typical "too good to be true" conversation with "Cynthia. She sounded so sincere. When she found out that we had been married for 32 years, she transferred me to a supervisor and we were upgraded to a window view upper cabin. I bought into the whole deal, 2nts. In Palm beach prior to the cruise, 3/2 night cruise to Grand Bahama Island and a 2 night stay on the Island. All for $776

I tried to find out more about this cruise and all I know is the lady kept trying to get me to purchase the ticket without my husband's permission I explained it was his money and I couldn't make a decision without him she said that he would get over it. I said I didn't want to do it so she hung up on me.she did keep trying to prove to me that the vouchers for real cuz they had a reservation number a confirmation number the CEO's name in all this kind of stuff it sounded too good to be true.so I told my husband about it and he said scam if we go on a cruise baby I'll just buy you one.

thankyou bloggers

I received a text about this Holiday Cruise to Bahamas, pay 59 port fees. This was thru 94 FM radio. I called the

cruise line directly and an indian answered and she really did not know about 94 fm but said they advertise with companies all over the world and have promotionsl All I had to do is answer three questions which I did, Its a scam.

94 fm knows nothing about them. In addition, I have been getting scams from potential irs people saying come down and give us money right now or your going to jail. That is a scam too. I always read blogs for vacations, hotel

rooms and everything, It has saved me thousands of dollars thankyou all !!! That is why I love American express they

go after these frauds if you use their card!!! write your attorney generals and get these people in jail!!!

I got this in the mail saying I had been identified for a free 2 day cruise for 2. I immediately thought scam! Especially when I saw the $1300 voucher. When you call they immediately want you to pay for the "government and port charges" and are rude about it. I got hung up on cause I rude back. I googled the place and found this sight with tons of complaints about this exact same thing. It's a scam don't waste your time.

Oh my, how foolish am I?

I received a call, informing me of my "free" cruise, they gave me all the details, I wrote them down, to check on at another time, due to a pressing appointment. Before I could get off the phone, I had been conned into giving my bank info, charged $118 that wasn't supposed to even go thru for another month and they tried to get more money by offering me these expensive upgrades, and swanky opportunities but I was thinking I was smart for declining when actually, I was stupid for being so gullible in the first place. I went to my bank, had them stop the charge the next day and called "Tara Fitz" to complain but was hung up on and I gave up at that point. Too much of my precious time had already been wasted on these scam artists.

I aslo received the mailer showing legitimate buisness logos. I called very skeptical. I called because the mailer looked too good to be true and my wife and I have wanted to take a cruise since we've been married, (20 years), but with 6 children now, we could not afford it.

I listened to the rep give me all the details of what we get. He asked for my email adress to send my the info and asked my phone number in case we get disconnected. I asked what is the catch, what do I have to do to get this. He stated we have to pay the port fees to confirm our trip and we would have 18 months to make our plans to go. We just need to get to Palm Beach Florida to port from there. He needed my email address to send me all their contact information and further information about the trip.

I asked about what the catch was because I'd been taken before. He brought some lady on the phone without me knowing he was even going to do it. She started in on the ""hard sale"". I asked he for contact info. I explained I had been taken before and when the call was over I called the number they called from and the number had been disconnected. She says you'll get all that info when we get the you pay your port taxes - $180 for one person and $237 for two persons. she stated ""why would I jepardise my company or my job for a couple hundred dollars?"" She said the guy (Arnold Jean ID#FT0430) sent me an email immediately when he got my email address with all the info I needed. and I could go to their email address and I would see that it was legit.

I went with my gutt and told the lady i would pass at this time. she was very nice as the guy was, and said I'm sorry we couldn't do business with you today and said she hopes my wife and I can take a cruise soon and hopefuly we'll choose Holiday cruise lines. I waited to see if they would hang up abruptly but they held on until I hung up. When I went online after the call and googled the cruise line the first thing the came up was the ripoff reports.(enough said!)

i can't believe i'm so stupid. i figured it out after i gave my credit card info. i told them i wanted to cancel, they said no, i cannot cancel, i cn transfer it to another person. i said no. so i told them i'm going to dispute the charge. they rudely told me that was why they had it recorded so they could show my bank i agreed to it and willingly gave my credit card info. the weird thing about how i got them on the phone was i was calling wells fargo bank and somehow they redirected the call to them, so i thought this was an offer endorsed by wells fargo. i hope the dispute goes thru

HOLIDAY CRUISE LINE. SCAM!!!!!!

I just called regarding a card I received in the mail yesterday. I had to call 3 times because each person hung up on me. They told me that this promotion had ended and since I am in Florida, I was not elligible for this cruise AND 2 round trip airline tickets for free. THIS IS A SCAM!!!! Don't fall for it. The card has a picture of a Royal Caribbean ship on the front and it reads: "7 NIGHT CRUISE". Please report!!!

Thanks for the warning

I just came from a LAS Vegas contest booth. EVERYONE WINS. While my mother signed up for a time share meeting, which came with show tickets and dinner, I won a Free (for taxes and port charges) 2-day Bahamas cruise on Holiday I'd never heard of this line, and after reading the reviews, am glad I threw away the voucher.

Thanks.

Bunch of Liars

First of all let me say I've been on Bahamas Paradise Cruise back in June (2015) when i purchased the tickets thru Groupon. I took my mom and we had a blast. I had been home about 2 weeks when i got a call saying i'd won a free cruise, all i had to pay was the port fees and taxes ($118 for 2 people). Which was a good deal ( i had only paid $249 for 2 people thru Groupon plus $52 each taxes). Then the 'selling' started with the presentation and tour and then 'only' such and such dollars for 2 nights at the resort and then 'only' an additional $99 for (first it was 3 nights) at the Welcome Center hotel, when it was actually only 2 nights, and supposedly 3 meals every day... i declined all the offers, told them i wasn't doing any kind of presentation, not staying at the dumpy dirt hole motel, nor was i paying extra to stay at the resort... the sales rep told me that when the ship docks we walk right off the ramp and right to the beach, which i knew was a lie, it's a 12 mile drive to the resort beach. if you don't sign up for a excursion of some sort you have to pay to take the shuttle or a taxi, which is any where from $12-$20 per person. He also told me that the cruise was all inclusive with alcohol, spa and salon included, another lie... i talked with the Welcome Center tonight and they had us booked in the hotel for 2 nights, which i had declined, twice (never charged for it) and had me signed up for a presentation... i have already printed our boarding passes and called the cruise line directly and we're all booked in, and i have our room number. we're supposed to get $100 gas voucher and a $50 casino voucher (which i was told by the sales rep it was $50 per person). i don't think we're going to drive the extra hour to the Welcome center to get these items, as the gas voucher has to have the gas receipts mailed in and then get a check back in the mail. The sales rep also told me that the welcome center was 'only' 17 minutes for the port, which it's actually an hour south. ... I ended up booking a 2nd cruise 2 days prior to the one we're taking thru here so we'll be taking back to back cruises for around $480 with taxes and fees... pretty sure we're going to skip going to the welcome center and all that mess... the cruise overall is pretty good... i liked it that it's a smaller ship (less people, less kids)... the pools are small, but clean... bathrooms are small, but clean... food was good, staff is very friendly and helpful... i would recommend the cruise, just not thru this place... check out Groupon or call them direct... they'll work a good deal out for you.... it also says you can't board until 1 pm... when i went in june we boarded at 11 a.m . and was in our room by 2 pm... BonVoyage

Took a phone survey when I called my company's help line and won a free holiday cruise

I thought I called my company's employee help line and got directed to answer a few question survey to win a free cruise. I thought it was maybe a new motivational special award for answering questions about the company. I answered some basic questions about wanting to go on a vacation and how old I was (under 65) and won a free cruise! It transferred to the Holiday cruise line where I was a luckily randomly selected person! The lady was nice saying I only had to pay $59 port charges for 2 which was $118 and I get a cruise to the Grand Bahama Island where we can stay longer if we wanted. Meals were included but alcohol was not. I asked questions and she read a canned sheet with proper enthusiasm talking about a 1,700 person ship with 4 restaurants and an inside cabin that has a cabin steward available 24X7. She wanted to transfer me to the verification dept where after giving me credit cards I would get a recording and other ways to show I paid for my cruise that I could take up to a 1.5 years to take.

I have never heard of this cruise line or saw a tiny ship by Holiday Cruise line. I must have mis-dialed my company's phone number and likely Holiday Cruise line intentionally has a number that is close and easy for someone to mis-dial. I found this website and hung up after the enthusiastic person wanted to direct me to her supervisor to help me with mis-givings about my wonderful free cruise.

  • Mar 8, 2016

i don't think you misdialed

i called the number for wells fargo bank n they somehow redirected to this cruise line. so i thought it was an offer associated with wells fargo. i am usually skeptical about offers. if i had only looked holiday cruise lines up online before i gave my credit card info. i paid $118. i did get transferred to an obnoxious pushy guy 'tito' who tried to sell me the hotels, rental cars etc. he finally gave up n tranferred me to verify my credit card. what tipped me off to the scam was they gave me a website to look it up n the www was my name isonvacation.com. then i told them i wanted to cancel...they said no, you cannot cancel, you can transfer it to someone else. i said no i want to cancel. i told them i would dispute it on my credit card. they said that's why everything is recorded, so they can show your bank you agreed and willingly gave my credit card. i can't believe how stupid i am. i hope the dispute goes thru

These guys scammed my friends $1100. I researched them and told my friends they got scammed. When i called the company and conforted them on this, after they hung up on me 5 times, i finally threatened them to not hang up on me and asked if they would refund their money,,, they fell silent. Royal caribbean cruise informed me that they always offer a refund if requested. These people suck!!!!

  • Feb 25, 2015

i recved a text on my cell phone to go on this web page you have won a free 7 day cruise to port in palm beach fla exstream excitement hoilday cruise lines offer a free 7 day 6 nights voyage to the grand bahamas all the food and tea and coffee is free no charge thats every meal after the late hours meals will be brought to your cabin no charge. all you have to do is pay the annuity $118.00 by credit card today. i questioned this and give a money card by bluebird/american express .after the card was run through my card came back lack of funds iasked could call back when i could get the funds. no sorry you missed your chance. after i hung up i went on line to find the this cruise line and ther was a site which said beware of hoilday cruise scam.s they use the reason for a free cruise is to fill every cabin on all cruises and a free short review will be required after the cruise to give updates on things of customer sastification to help improve the cruise line,so they got my phone number address bluebird card # which i have set up to be canceled.

  • Dec 3, 2014

This company refused to give me a refund when I was dissatisfied with their services, the balance that I paid them is not showing on my account statement and circumstances changed and i cannot go anymore. they were rude and stated that in the terms and conditions it states that when I sign into the site to make reservations. i did not make any reservations, nor did I see any terms and conditions, after they told me this, I signed back on to see the terms and the document doesn't exist. I want a full refund and if anyone can give me tips, that would be greatly appreciated.

I am reporting a rip off on boarding passes to the bahamas. I paid this company 779 dollars to go on a cruise with my family. They took 79 dollars a month from my social security debit card, until it was paid. I finally received some thing In the mail a year later. I thought for sure it was labor. But its not. It's a ripoff and I don't know where or how to get my money back. Can some one help me achieve this. I am disabled and don't know what time do. Help.
