I have live at Broadway Towers for over six years. In the past Broadway Towers was well kept and clean. I'm not sure why there has been a definate decline in Broadway Towers upkeep and cleanliness over the past year but the change is obvious not only to the residents but also to their visitors. The lack of cleanliness is most apparent in the disgusting state of hallway rugs on every floor and the disgusting,dirty elevators.
I have been complaining about this problem to Maryville Housing Authority for the previous year and have yet to hear from them. They did clean my floor's hallway about 4months ago. I have written three letters and one phone call but have not received a response. I asked MHA to set a hearing date for me but was ignored. When I was able, I did a lot of volunteer service for our community and I have a son in the military. I feel, as do the other residents, that we deserve a clean, well-kept place to live. I had hoped to resolve this problem with MHA, however, since I have been ignored, I decided to turn to you for help.
