I contacted hurman Bullock HB around the first of December 12/1/2014 to come check out my central heating air unit and tell me what was wrong with it. Mr Bullock Responded to my message by saying I'm in your area I'll swing by. after coming by we reminisce about old job at Jiffy Lube where i first met Mr Bullock he became my manager. as he disassemble my heating air unit after about 10 to 20 minutes of probing he came back with the answer that my unit had a bad circuit board and to fix it I would need to give him $150 to get a new board. he then smile and said don't worry about the labor I got you homeboy. if I only knew now what he meant then( later I found out the boad only cost $70)
so after going to the bank to get the money out I gave HB $200 something for his time and us being friends HB call me back sometime later about 3 hours saying oh its too late to get the parts they would have to order it (after the scam when I called to check on part at a local parts store they said they had 5 on the shelf) so I took Mr HB at his word.
days went by about a week later 12/8/2014 HB call me back from a block# I lost my phone man and I've been in the hospital with pneumonia sorry for the inconvenience but I will get to you by Friday 12/12/2014. so he contacted me around Wednesday stating to me leave your gate open so I can get to your unit and install the new piece I said ok. so when he contacted me stating I'm at your house I told him I will be there in a minute but the gate was open to go on in. when I got home HB had said this is not the problem I went under your house and found a wire that is touching that could be sending back ground to your system and that is what's wrong. at that time I got suspicious because I had just had plumbing work done and had to check out the work before the plumber left and saw no wire touching. so in true HB fashion he stated I'm going to need about $60 to get the stuff to repair it. yes i gave him the money and as befor he didnt come back for days12/17/2014. so after leaving him a few messages he returned my call stating I got good news tell you when I come by 12/19/2014 he stated I talk to the company that makes your unit they are going to issue a new unit under warranty for your unit being a problem unit but the filing fee is $200. so I explain to him again that being out of work and it being Christmas this is hurting my Christmas budget but having heat is a priority. in the space heater I have have me worried about a fire being that the house not 4 blocks from me burnt down from a space heater fire so I gave him the money. he stated I have your new unit by monday 12/22/2014 that was the last I heard from Mr Herman bullck .HB numbers for him no longer work and I have not received a call from him since.
