I purchased headlights for my 2000 BMW 528i. I was told by phone, chat, and email that these would work in my car. There is no way they are correct. The ones I was sold are for HID replacement and the ones I needed should be for halogen replacement.
The customer service people in this organization appear to be helping, but all they're doing is passing the buck and hoping you'll get so discouraged that you don't bother to ship back the product and just eat your loss.
Firstly, any legitimate car parts company should have you type in the VIN of your car. Their software should categorize your purchase and this type of transaction should never occur. Here at "I LOVE BODY KITS", they tell you that everything is prewired and hooks up simply.
The instructions they send you would not enable you to be able to open a cereal box correctly. Then to protect themselves, they state you should have a professional installer do the work.
As you will read other complaints from this company for returning an item, they have a list of instructions, taking photos to proove the product isn't correct, taking photos of your wiring in the car, the product id number on the box, etc. etc.
All ploys to keep you from bothering to get a refund. I have spoken with their main customer service person, Wes, several times. The last call to him was that he was going to sit down to his Fed Ex machine and generate a return label that would be emailed to me. This hasn't happend yet. Three days have passed.
My advice to anyone who is thinking of making a purchase from this company, DON'T DO IT. If you already ordered and paid for the product, refuse the shipment upon arrival.
There are other companies on line who are really legitimate like CAR ID. Do yourself a favor and buy from them.
