John Riddle promised me a polished query letter, two polished sample chapters and the potential of a publisher by the end of May. Things got off to a slow start for which he gave the excuse of various losses and illnesses in the family, computer issues and finally... a vacation. In July he sent me a standardized list of book marketing ideas. I responded, asking him who was to undertake the action points. He never responded.
I never received any of the services paid for. I maintained a firm but cordial tone. John has not responded to any of my email or telephone attempt
Beware! A wolf in sheep's clothing. Mr. John Riddle, who wears his religion on his shirt sleeve's is a thief. He promised literary services, collected two grand up front (how stupid of me) and delivered nothing!!!
It has been years, and although letters from my attorney did get some of the monies back, for the last year Mr. John Riddle has not refunded a dime and ignores all legal attempts that have been made.
He goes under a variety of hames and seems to prey off the hopes and dreams of aspiring authors by promising them expertise and results to get their money and then goes on to the next victim. He is not to be trusted and don't let his reference to the Christian prayer group fool you. Maybe they are fooled as well? This man needs to be stopped!
