Imad Mehanna was hired at my home to do a remodeling and addition project. He claimed he was licensed and insured, he never was licensed nor was he insured i later found out. Imad Mehanna took large deposits to start every part of the job, i later found out he never paid his employees thats why they never showed up to work. Imad did some cement work on my front porch and till today 7-27-2014 he claims he wil finish the work that he started in 2013. Imad started to paint my home, he painted appx 30% of my home and dragged me for over a year claiming he will finish soon. Imad Mehanna instaled my hardwood floor, it was installed with large gaps between the pieces and it was also installed at an angle making the room look crooked. when i asked why it was installed that way he claimed the room was built crooked, after consulting with the original builder and confirming that wasnt the case, Imad procedded to blame the hard wood flooring company sayiny the wood was at fault. we got hold of the manufacturer and had some wood sent to a test lab to verify this, that wasnt the case either, after dragging this issue for several months Imad Menahha finally admits he installed the hardwood floor incorrectly and used the wrong tools to do so, i got the run around that he will eventually make it up to me. I had stone installed on my home, lol no suprise it has been falling off slowley since last year, now Imad is blaming the manufacturer after we went through the stone sales company and at one point he blamed the delivery company for the issue, the stone issue has been going on for about a year now. I had a serious talk with Imad Mehanna about finishing this nightmare project as it has been dragging over a year now, his excuse is im sorry someone broke into my home and stole your money that i had set aside so i am unable to finish the job as soon as you would like. there is not one thing Imad started at my home and has finished, for what little he did it truly looks like crap, now he claims i dont have the money to finish your job take me to court. Did i mention he got paid for the drywall job and still has not finished mudding or sanding. Something as minor as my mailbox is even installed incorrectly, he installed my mailbox using culking and not screws, its glued on at an angle and is unoperable. Imad had left my home trashed and filthy looking. At one point he somehow flooded my home causing extensive damage and when asked he simply apologised and said i will clean up the mess, he never did.
Be aware Imad Mehanne is an unlicensed and un insured fake contractor that has ripped off many people, ask about him before using him, i come to find out he has done this to many people and has no morals.
