On 3/31/14, I contacted Advanced Tech Support and continued many times, thereafter, to call with the same problems. This time, I was told, I needed an anti-virus software and how PC-MRI is just a mal-ware.

The tech working on my computer this day, name was Gerry, said I needed an anti-virus, which he could download part of the Panda Mal-ware that also has a anti-virus and how I could have the anti-virus installed at a later date as we agreed, with me giving him my debit card number and contact info, as he was to deduct from the account, in 10-days.

The tech left the following info, on my desktop in a tablet, if I needed to contact him. Tech Support, 1-877-934-7469 from 9am-9pm EST, email, [email protected], Gerry then installed the Panda mal-ware. I was quoted the cost of the Panda anti-mal ware was $149.00 for 1-year, $249.00 for 2-years or $299.00 for a life time, that can also be used if I changed computers. I later learned he had deleted my purchased PC MRI mal-ware.

While Panda was installed, I questioned and was told I didn't need a firewall. I later learned4/1/14, the Panda software installed is actually free. I then contacted ATS and told them to uninstall Panda and reinstall PC-MRI. At this time, I learned they had not completely uninstalled Panda as requested.

I had problems with all of my email accounts and then started having problems with my g-mail account and called Gerry, leaving a message at 1-877-934-7469 and when he returned the call, on the caller ID, the number showed up as 9-199-999-15172, but showed in the phone records as 919-999-9151. His voice was not clear and sounded muddled. I asked that he return the call. Same problem. Gerry, then said he would have his friend contact me, who was also a tech, who did, however, we had several drop calls as he called from 2-different number as 661-748-0241 and 661-748-0240, which I have had lots of calls from these numbers. I even had a call to show upon the caller ID as 00-2058.

I closed the bank account, before the time of when the Tech was due to make a withdrawal from the account. Since then, Gerry called and was told about the situation and not to call anymore, but has continued to do so. I have also received many hang-up calls, calls from those not leaving a message, and more telemarketing calls, which I am on the ":Do Not Call List". I believe this to be retaliation done to harass.

I have since, received a free anti-virus software, from a company, that has been in business for approx. 28-years and has never heard of ATS. This tech, went to a page, looking for what he described as an error report and nothing was there, as he said, they have erased stuff, so a tech or no one can trace their wrongs.

I now presume, they have compromised my computer, tablet and phone. I am constantly getting the blue screen on my computer, crashing and the mouse moving by itself, my phone I hear echoes when I speak, many drop calls, and many tell me to repeat myself, because I am fading in and out. My tablet is getting hot, especially when it is charging and I receive a message, telling me it is to disconnect and it does not hold a charge for long, and when on, it is extremely slow.

On 6/10/14, at 3:40pm, I received a call from a tech, who introduced himself from ATS, from the phone number of 1-877-934-7469. I did a search for this number, which has many complaint as showing as Impex Support, Inc. This is the contact information that was given from the Advanced Tech Support Tech, named Gerry, that worked on my computer, 3/31/14. This tech was saying that he was calling, because he received a report, that I was having problems with my computer for 10-days and how he has been trying to reach me. That's approx. how long I had been having the memory error message that says the following.

Alert! Uncorrectable memory error previously detected in 137F30000h. It has also said it is detected in 137B5000h, 137F000h, 33594000h, 13794000h, 137950000h, and others, just to name a few. Strike the F1 key to continue, F2 to run the set up utility.

The following blue screen message that says the following.

Hardware Malfunction

Call your vendor for support

The System has halted

I told this manager, from 1-877-934-7469 of Impex to call me back in 10-minutes. He said they are Microsoft certified technicians. Do a search for this phone number for the many complaints and I have searched to see that Impex nor Impex Support, is not even registered to do business in the state of CA.

I decided to call ATS to inquire about this and while I am on the call, is when Impex, is returning the call twice at 5:17 and 5:18pm. Which was to be returned in 10-minutes, which I did not take this call. ATS said they would not have contacted me with a report of such, nor did they know what I was talking about. One interesting thing that resulted in this conversation is ATS said they didn't have any records or reports, that there was any conversations or work performed on my computer, since Jan. 2014. This tech, even repeated this 5-times. I later phoned and the tech said he could not find any records since 1/20/14. So now they are deleting records, because there has been many, many times that I have contacted them, since.

Impex, called again at 5:29pm this same day and in this conversation, he said he was the manager, then later admitted that he was Gerry. I know I told him at least 4-times not to call me again and he assured me that he would not. I was called again, 6/11/14 at 11:15am.

I received a call from a government agency, that showed upon my caller ID as a 4-digit number and they were not aware of this and said this was the first time they heard of this. Beware, from these actions, Impex Support, Inc. is believed to be committing cybercrimes, as my phone, computer, tablet, phone and printer, has been comprimised.

I again, have been called by Impex Support, from 1-877-934-7469, 7-times in 12-minutes on 6-17, 2014. This tech said his name was Jim and I asked to speak to his supervisor, he said his name was Sammie. Again, I was told that they were calling about a report of computer problems, I was having for 2-weeks. I asked how did they get my contact information. Said it was received back in Sept. 2012. This is when I obtained the services of Advanced Tech Support, to remotely repair my computer. Again, I told them not to call me.

Everyone should file your complaints separately, listing the companies individually, with the Federal Trade Commission, IC3, and your State Attorney General’s office.

Impex a SCAM!

I have jus had a similar experience. Signed a contract to pay $300 for a three year period of support and virus protection, etc. For 3 years that might be reasonable But there has never been resolution of my issues: they remain

as the first day, and I waited too long to get my money back. I will have to find someone else and they are $300 richer.

I will tell everyone I know who they are!

Scams

I initially contacted this company thinking it was the Dell's computer support company since my new computer was acting up. I was charged $855.00 and told this would be for a lifetime of support, six months later they notified me of a computer problem, this cost me $427.00, I balked at the third request for money and they said they would fix it since I was such a good customer, the fourth time the problem was going to cost me a minimum of $300.00 and I finally told them to shove it. The scenarios appear to be the same with other customers, China hacks into the computer, the e-mail is hacked etc, etc. When I paid with my credit card for the $427.00, my credit card was used to purchase merchandise fraudulently for hundreds of dollars. The receipt for your payment never shows an order number, it just says for providing remote tech support. Just because I'm a dummy you don't have to be one too. It will never end unless you end it !!

Absolutely the worst

I had initially purchased this product before it was Impex. At that time, if I had a problem with my computer, it was taken over, fixed, end of problem. Since Impex has taken over the company, I have had nothing but problems with my computer. My agent, Chris Johnson, said I needed to purchase additional Malware Antivirus. I did so at the cost of $1,356.68. I was assured repeatedly that this would be the last thing I would ever need to purchase and that my computer was completely protected. I could even let my children use it and if I buy a new computer, I can transfer the service.

Needless to say, this is not the case. I have called about problems and all I get from the same agent, Chris, is that now I need to buy more protection for my computer. I reminded him of the initial conversation and promises made, but now he claims it is my network and I must buy more services.

The last time I dealt with this man, I was crying because he was so rude and arrogant. He said my computer was at risk but there was nothing he could do since I wouldn't buy the additional coverage. I called back and got a supposed supervisor who was going to fire Chris and he would fix my computer. I will not be surprised to receive a phone call from Chris again.

I will not grant them a backdoor to any new computer I purchase.
