In june of 2014 i took out a $600 loan with instaloan i did not qualify for a signature loan instead i took out a car title loan on my 1992 lincoln this was done with a promise that each payment would be reported to the credit bureau with each payment this never happened i was only asked to make minumin payment each time not knowing that this was only interest therefore i have paid in access of $1,650 to date and still owe the same amount as of 5/05/2015, this company comes out to my home leaves seal letters threaten to take the car demand that i sign the new loan each on 05/04/2015 i paid @143.00 and walked out not singing the new loan papers eventhough i had 30 days to do so an employer of instaloan came out to home amd walked in my house when i clearly said just a minute. she was clearly intoxicated and I have a picture of her with my dog licking her face this loan charges me 68 dollars for car insurance on a car that is not running checks my credit for bankruptcy every month when i clearly have discharge papers instaloan is located in south st petersburg where africian americans consist of at least 65% of the population and instaloan takes advantage of the poor and uneducated playing games with taking money that we dont have they need to be gone. I want my $1,050 and my car title they also refuse to do aribration.

Took almost $800 out of my bank without authorization!

After being unable to make our first payment and not making it in yet to talk to these people, we got a nice surprise of a $780 payment taken out of our account today...by instaloan, with NO authorization given! Do not ever rarer use this company!

My fiance' took out a loan a few months ago with instaloan for a grand.. are payments were roughly $200 a month. well he got a new job and had to wait on his first pay check to come in to pay his first payment. Well we both got the harrassing phone calls and then someone named thomas called and he made arrangements to have the payment taken out on the 16th of this month (december 2014) well last friday they took $208 out of his paycheck which left us to where we had to live hard for a week and my kids had to go with out. Well Monday Dec. 15th 2014 i get a call from them saying that there were no payments made on our account and that they were gonna come after our car if we didnt pay, so i had a few words with them and told them that they took the payment out last friday and we have proof that $208 was taken out. they kept saying that no payment was made and they do not take payments off a card. Thats not the worst part... My fiance's father called up there and they gave them all the information on the account and we made it apoint to them that they were not to know or have anything to do with our account. they went against our wishes and told them everything going against our privacy. not to mention we have no idea where our payment went. We will have our attorneys involved with this situation and if the harrassing calls and messages continue i will have the establishment shut down. and our money returned to us.

This company has been a nightmare to deal with. We thought that they were saving us when we only needed a small loan to fix a simple oversight, and they turned out to be the worst decision we have ever made. It would have been better to get the money we needed literally any other way.

We live nearly two hours away and Instaloan seemed like the best way to deal with our problem so we filled out information online and were contacted and told we were approved. So we made the trip to the Longwood location where we were run around for over an hour - this should have been our first clue to not use this service.

The lady there told us we were not approved, so we were angry because on the phone they said that we were. Another man who must have been a manager came over and said that it was ok and she could do the loan, so she started going through more information. Another issue came up and she said that it didn't look like we would be approved again. Again the manager came over and said that it was alright and to go ahead and do it. This should have been the second clue to get out.

The last thing we had a problem with was that we only needed about $100, but they said that we would have to take at least $500 (even though the website says they go as low as $250) so we finally agreed and got out of there like 2 hours later (even though the website says it takes about 30 minutes). We were relieved that we could get our finances back on track, however short lived the relief was.

We made our first payment of about half of what we had borrowed, but was told that over $100 was going to be fees and we were ok with that because they are a business and have to make money somehow. However, the fees keep going, so every month is more and more fees to the point that our $500 loan quickly spiraled into about $800 and it still isn't all paid back.

The biggest problem though is the customer service. Since we live so far away we contacted Instaloan to see if there was another way to pay without having to take a 2 hour drive to get there. We were told that it would be fine to mail a money order to make payments and that all we would have to do is call and let the manager know that it was in the mail so that they would know to expect it.

Twice we were told this information, once at the store and once using the online live help chat. So we mailed a payment and then called to let them know that it was in the mail. It was then that we were told that we could not mail a payment and had to be there in person. I told them that they told us that mailing is ok and again the lady was adamant that it was not ok and they would not accept the mailed payment.

I was angry, because I work in a customer service environment, and if I had been in the position of their customer service I would have been fired for telling a customer wrong information. Anyway, we told them that we wouldn't be able to make it to the location the day that the payment was due and finally they arranged another day for us to stop in. The lady on the phone was not friendly or helpful in any way.

Fast forward to the new date they gave us to stop by, we get a call in the early afternoon asking where we are at. We told them that we were going to be there as soon as we got out of work, but the lady started claiming that there was a promise we would be there at 10am, which we never once said at all or agreed to because we knew we had work. So the lady became irate again and said that we needed to make it and then told us that they were closing early that day.

We told them that we never told them we would be there at 10am and they never told us they were closing early that day and there was no way for us to make it because how far away we live. The lady again gave horrible customer service and promptly told us to just come in Monday and hung up on me.

This place has been deplorable in their business practices and most importantly their customer service. The website claims that they are there to help and have friendly staff, but the website if nothing but lies and has obviously fake testimonials meant to dupe people out of as much money as possible. After dealing with Instaloan once, I will never go back for anything. I would rather be homeless and living in a box than dealing with the staff at Instaloan.

I was in a bind and needed to take a title loan out on my car for $500.00 In a local Instaloan office in Jacksonville, FloridaThat was in May of 2014. As of July 2014 have paid $960.00 in interests and fees and can't seem to get the pricipal paid down. The usual payment each month is around $ 48 to $50.. In July as I paid the fee I was told an additional $25.00 investigative fee would be done each month until the loan is paid off. This traps me into the loan, I cannot get it down. They have the title to my car and can take it if I default. Help !!! Is there anything I can do to get out from under this ?

This was previously Equity Auto Loan. Payment is due monthly as with most bills. Here's the dilemna....Why am I recoving 4-5 calls per day, all my references being called also, AND, people leaving notes on my door after being a few days late. 150 bucks. Don't owe 2 payments. Just ONE.

What I've noticed is the switch in how business is handled since the name change. Regarless of the name change; this is a ghetto loan offered to poor people like myself. I will never in my life get another loan from this company. I would rather struggle and live in a cardboard box.

This new management act as if they are collecting on a home mortgage through a reputable bank. Please come back down to reality and remember who you are servicing and why we took desperate measures to get a loan through you. Yes, debt is to be paid, but this type of harasent is really over the top for this bootleg loan.
